Welcome to VocalDispatch for LSPDFR!

If you watched the video, remember that Charlie 63 is my unit number - not something you need to say to make it work. You should choose your own identifier.

DISCLAIMER: Although I am not done working on VocalDispatch, I've become extremely busy with work and will not be working on it for a while. I will offer the best support I can, but my response times will be slower.

Features:

Communicate verbally with dispatch
Accept a callout verbally
Request backup (code 2, code 3, pursuit, air unit, SWAT, ambulance, firetruck) verbally
End current callout verbally
Tow truck and transport support (via Arrest Manager)
Custom Backup and Better EMS integration
Responses to status (show me <status>) and detained/in custody reports for videos and added immersion
Varied and appropriate responses to verbal communication
Developer API for integration with third party software

To use features provided via Arrest Manager, you will need to install Arrest Manager by Albo1125, version 7.9.1.0 or higher. You can get it here:

To get the best backup and EMS functionality, please install the following two plugins.

VocalDispatch will automatically use both of these plugins, if installed.

Non-English Languages

It is possible to use VocalDispatch in other languages. You can do this by editing the {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch\default.xml file to reflect the appropriate words in your language and changing the locale setting in {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch.ini. If community contributors wish to translate the files and upload them for a certain language, I will add them here.

I'm having trouble with my VocalDispatch. it says

LSPD First Response: VocalDispatch: Encountered an exception. It was: System.InvalidOperationException: The language for the grammar does not match the language of the speech recognizer.

how do i fix it?

You have set the language string in the ini file wrongly. Set it back to normal (en-US) and then try again

Crashes on launch for me, have nothing modified:

RPH log says:

fixed, forgot that my PC had the en-GB language pack and not the en-US pack

@codenamehowler1987 check if the language set in the .ini file is the same as your language pack :) en-US is the default language code and if it isn´t that then set the right language code.

Im getting poor performance from this mod. It never seems to pick up what I am saying, then I get stuck in a loop where I key in the radio and say what I need, and nothing happens. The "dispatch didn't catch that" message stays displayed the whole time, even when I don't key in. Eventually, GTAV crashes to desktop.

It dosen't work. it says "Encountered an error possibly relating to locale. Do you have the correct lang" Please help!

It doesnt appear to load correctly. The in game message said that it couldnt detect an English locale file? I should note that I am Dutch, but I dont know what I can do to fix it?

@S0berDrunk download the dutch version of VocalDispatch. If there is no dutch version then create one :) As long as your language pack does support the voice recognition :)

As I know Vocal Dispatch uses Windows speech recognition. So, will it work if speech recognition is not supported for my current language and if using english version of VocalDispatch (seemingly translated version will not work, but what about english?)?

The Dutch pack requires me to speak Dutch which I dont want.

Can anyone help me? All is working very well, but when I request backup, prusuit or standar, it says this:

"We're not able to honor that request at this time."

Im from the Uk - and trying to get this to work - but nothing seems to work - i have downloaded all files - put them where they should be try to respond in the game to a call out and nothing happens.

All seems okay, you have the log attached.

Still not working, it works all, ambulance, towtruck, transport, swat, shots fired... but, request of a cruiser, is not working. Pursuit and helicopter aren't working too.

@John Street sounds like the script.xml file is corrupt if those are the only ones that doesn´t work. try download only the script.xml file instead :)
