Welcome to VocalDispatch for LSPDFR!

If you watched the video, remember that Charlie 63 is my unit number - not something you need to say to make it work. You should choose your own identifier.

DISCLAIMER: Although I am not done working on VocalDispatch, I've become extremely busy with work and will not be working on it for a while. I will offer the best support I can, but my response times will be slower.

Features:

  • Communicate verbally with dispatch
  • Accept a callout verbally
  • Request backup (code 2, code 3, pursuit, air unit, SWAT, ambulance, firetruck) verbally
  • End current callout verbally
  • Tow truck and transport support (via Arrest Manager)
  • Custom Backup and Better EMS integration
  • Responses to status (show me <status>) and detained/in custody reports for videos and added immersion
  • Varied and appropriate responses to verbal communication
  • Developer API for integration with third party software

To use features provided via Arrest Manager, you will need to install Arrest Manager by Albo1125, version 7.9.1.0 or higher. You can get it here:

To get the best backup and EMS functionality, please install the following two plugins.

VocalDispatch will automatically use both of these plugins, if installed.

Non-English Languages

It is possible to use VocalDispatch in other languages. You can do this by editing the {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch\default.xml file to reflect the appropriate words in your language and changing the locale setting in {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch.ini. If community contributors wish to translate the files and upload them for a certain language, I will add them here.

When I started mode for the first time he he understood only one command and only once. After I restarting the game "dispatch" understood all command from the Default.ini(without ArrestManager). And now mod understands only "plate check" and "ped check".  Learning speech recognition didn't help. May be my accent is very very bad, but "dispatch" understood  me before, and now he understands 2 command. I think there may be a compatibility issue with 0.4.2 or am I doing something wrong?

Maybe it's my accent, but then why doesn't mod understand what he understood before? It's strange.

P.s. Sorry for my English.

Hey there everyone, I'm also having a issue when requesting any sort of back up. hear the sirens and now one shows. I already edited the ini file and changed the distance where the backup spawns from 300 to 75 and that did nothing. anyone able to solve the backup not showing up issue? other than that its working very well.

Im not sure if this solves the issue, I have done what someone posted some time back and edited the ini file once again from 75 now down to 30 and that seems to help. They still end up showing up a bit far but do run to my location upon exiting the vehicle. When I get home I'll try and edit it down to 10 see if that makes a difference.

Hi! I recently installed vocal dispatch, and the plugin itself seems to work well, however when trying to use functions from other plugins I run into issues. The other plugins I have been trying to use are Police Smart Radio and the Officer Status Plugin. When saying any of the commands from these mods I am given a message from dispatch saying that they are "unable to honor that request". I've tried reinstalling, and a lot of researching, but I can't find anything that helps. If anyone has any idea what may be causing this problem, I'd really appreciate some advice.

I also attached an RPH log from short session involving the issue, though I'm not great with troubleshooting and I can't decipher it.

Works great but quite often when I push button to talk it hangs.  Takes a bit for radio verification. Can take almost a min. Pushing button several times no effect. Doesn’t cause multiple instances.  Just waits.  Very slow for me when I push button till I get verification and then I can talk. Time in between is long.

I have no issues using this when I do. You have to make sure you speak clearly enough and use the proper call codes that are written in the scripts not just some random stuff. Also you can try amplifying your computers ability to understand you by using your vocal recognition software.

Improving Speech Recognition
For the best results, it is important to speak clearly with good annunciation and at a reasonable speed.
VocalDispatch uses the Windows Speed Recognition API. If you have never used speech recognition on your system previously, recognition quality will likely be quite poor. You can significantly improve the recognition quality by using the speech training system in Windows.
1. Go to Start

2. Type “Speech Recognition”

3. Select “Speech Recognition when the search results are shown

4. Click “Train your computer to better understand you” in the window that opens 5. Run through the wizard and speak all of the phrases you are asked to say
Note: On Windows 10, the Speech Recognition API is separate from Cortana. If you have previously set up Cortana to better understand your voice, this does not apply to VocalDispatch.

Credits Readme.pdf that is included with the installation.

Go to windows settings

> Sound

>Scroll down to input, select device properties

>Additional Sound properties

>Select second to last tab, mine says VoizReal Exp.

>Make sure the noise suppression box is unchecked.

>Test

If that does not work you could look into other conflicting apps like discord or teamspeak could be something in those sound setting as well if you use either of those applications.
