Welcome to VocalDispatch for LSPDFR!

If you watched the video, remember that Charlie 63 is my unit number - not something you need to say to make it work. You should choose your own identifier.

DISCLAIMER: Although I am not done working on VocalDispatch, I've become extremely busy with work and will not be working on it for a while. I will offer the best support I can, but my response times will be slower.

Features:

Communicate verbally with dispatch
Accept a callout verbally
Request backup (code 2, code 3, pursuit, air unit, SWAT, ambulance, firetruck) verbally
End current callout verbally
Tow truck and transport support (via Arrest Manager)
Custom Backup and Better EMS integration
Responses to status (show me <status>) and detained/in custody reports for videos and added immersion
Varied and appropriate responses to verbal communication
Developer API for integration with third party software

To use features provided via Arrest Manager, you will need to install Arrest Manager by Albo1125, version 7.9.1.0 or higher. You can get it here:

To get the best backup and EMS functionality, please install the following two plugins.

VocalDispatch will automatically use both of these plugins, if installed.

Non-English Languages

It is possible to use VocalDispatch in other languages. You can do this by editing the {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch\default.xml file to reflect the appropriate words in your language and changing the locale setting in {GTA V}\plugins\lspdfr\VocalDispatch.ini. If community contributors wish to translate the files and upload them for a certain language, I will add them here.

Been using this for a while now and I can not callout for a tow truck or prisoner transport using Vocal Dispatch with Arrest Manager. I get a message saying "we can not honor that request at this time." I have vocal dispatch and arrest manager installed correctly and have the most recent versions of both.

Any idea if you'll add support for non native accents? For example I'm British and it can't make out most of the words I'm saying

This is a game changer!! During pursuits, it is so much easier to keep your hands on the controller and call in backup. During a firefight, super easy to get additionals.

What would make this really step up is for me to call in I'm on on a traffic stop, and it places me 10-7, so no callouts happen during the stop. Once I'm done, I can go back to being 10-8.

Please make this so.

I tried to translate to Italian but as it say everytime i change the language to "it-IT" in VocalDispatch.ini, but.don't work can you help me ?? Now with lspsfr 0.4 this mod work ??

So this is, without a doubt, one of the coolest things I've seen. I was a dispatcher for about ten years, and Ive been screwing around with the xml sheets adding and tweaking things to the way i'm used to doing them haha!

Question. Do you think it would be possible/how hard would it be to get the "dispatcher" to respond with the time on the generic responses? Can it pull the time from the game? Can those recordings be added, or are their existing recordings that could be used for that? Just a neat thought I had, but I wouldnt have the first idea on how to do something like that.

After you press alt and it works the first time, do you see a message in the bottom left that says something to the effect of "didn't copy" I've noticed that if you press alt and then don't give it any input it just listens forever. I discovered this because my mic was muted at one point while I was attempting to use it. If it's still listening, then pressing the push to talk button again won't activate the radio, since its already active.

So I'd recommend checking your mic to ensure its working, pressing alt and speaking and seeing if you do see the "dispatch didnt copy" message or if it works.

I’m having an issue where I call for backup and it spawns but never arrives at my location. I can hear the backup units sirens but it doesn’t get to me. Using the ultimate backup MENU works fine.

Any advice?

i have used this plugin for a good while now

im having an issue now

where if i activate listening
it immidiate says:

didnt copy
please say again.

it used to work flawless

I use the ultimate backup, when I say request ems, he replied copy that, but no ems to support me there is a siren sound, but he can not find me!! And request code 3 backup, he is only copy that, and then heard the siren sound! Can't find my position in the support unit! I am using lspdfr0.41 and I feel like I need to update for 0.41!!!

I have done that training thing with my voice, but when I pres Ralt it does just say didnt copy, say again

Could it be because I have the 0.4.1 update.

If you need any information other then that I provided just ask
