Fictional LSPD Textures Package 1.2.1

   (6 reviews)

8 Screenshots

Being a graphic designer, I've started diving into the world of creating my own textures.  Having downloaded so many of the awesome mods folks on this site have worked so hard to create, I thought I'd give back to this community by uploading some of the textures I've done.

Here is an LSPD texture that I came up with, some of the vehicles have numerous textures (different unit numbers), so when backup arrives on-scene, not every car will have the same unit number...just to add another level of realism to the game).  This textures package includes textures for the following vehicles:

Ford Crown with Federal Signal Valor lightbar By PimDSLR (5 textures, including a K-9 unit)

Dodge Charger 2015 LSPD by F5544 (4 textures)

2015 Unmarked Chevrolet Suburban by POLICESCO (1 texture)

LSPD/LSSD 2014 Chevrolet Impala (PPV) by Bxbugs (4 textures)

Ford Police Interceptor 2012 model by F5544 (4 textures)

Let me know what y'all think; and, if the feedback is positive, I'll offer up some of the other designs I've done for other agencies.

Thanks for taking a look! -EP34FR

These look really nice man, if you could do a few matching for the impala bugs made and the ford taurus interceptor f5544 made.

That would be awesome

i have a design for the Impala (forgot to include it).  I'll work on one fr the Taurus, and will get something up soon).

The textures included in this download are not for the default, GTAV vehicles.  You will need to download the vehicles menioned, and replace the textures in those .ytd files.

I see thanks, whenever I tried to use OpenIV and place it in the correct texture, it will tell me I need to download an auto loader? or something for it to run? something to do with .api if I'm not wrong. Sorry really new to this, only know how to do enhance my LSPDFR games usingv plugins mods so far.

The pathway will vary for each vehicle model.  You can look in each vehicle mod's readme file to find it's exact location.

Not the readme included in my file...

Scroll back to the top of this page, and in the description of this mod, there are links to each of the vehicles you need to download...the vehicles these skins are made for,  Check out the readmes for those vehicles after you download them...not my readme.  The vehicle's readme will tell you the file path, through OpenIV, that it needs to be installed.  Some folks install the vehicles into a different location, in lieu of replacing police, police2, etc., so I did not include file paths in my readme.

correct...you need the .asi plugin installed.

If you've never used OpenIV, check out this video.  Around the 2:25 mark, he shows how to install the plugin...

These are great. Any chance of making one for KAMELKFB's 2015 Dodge Charger RT? It's the only vehicle in my LSPD fleet that doesn't match now.

Thanks for the comment.  Unfortunatly, I'll probably just stick with the charger skin for F5544's 2015 Charger.

I'd suggest installing that charger mod...It'd probably take less time for you to install that than it would for me to design the skins for it

Ah no worries - not a fan of the lightbar on F5544's Charger which is why I use the other one. Not a big deal though - LSPD just ran out of money to repaint their Chargers :D

How about the GMC Savana transport

You need to redo the textures in an editing program that can save as .dds and generate mipmaps. Otherwise the quality is lower.

At first glance, there doesn't appear to be a .dds export option for Adobe Illustrator, so .png is the best I can do right now.  If you can assist in finding a solution, so I can provide you better quality textures to download for free, it would be greatly appreciated.  Also, thanks for the feedback about the reversed seal on the passenger side of the Impala.  Fixed now.

I've also created my own version of the Impala texture by editing yours. Would you like me to send the files to you? You can use them in your pack if you give me credit.

PLEASE could you do a pack for this? Your design is the exact one I would love for my lspd cars - big logo, simple police word! Thanks for considering it!
