2011 CROWN VICTORIA LASD/LSSD V1.4A

Where do the new files download using the package installer in the Jan 11 update? When I change the YTD file to lasd it still shows lssd when in-game and I don't know if I'm changing the wrong file (located in patchday3ng).

If you haven't figured it out yet, update your 7zip or WinRAR, apparently he's using some new compression for this archive. Opens up fine with that. 

I am using a old version of WinRAR using the basic RAR compression.

Well I've never had to update my 7zip to unrar a file, but I did this time. Kept saying it was invalid or damaged. Dunno.

That's odd because the WinRAR I used was from 2014.

I used the automatic installer and in the game the lights are all screwed up like not even attached to the car and the lightbar doesnt work.....I think its easier for me to install manually because Ive never had that problem..any way to install manually?

Be sure that you are installing it in your mods folder. For manual install you can extract the files from the contents folder inside the .OIV using WinRAR.

Im so confused installing this, why is not named Sheriff.wtd and the others like usual?

It shouldn't be confusing at all just use OpenIV package installer under tools & find the archive you want to install & just click install. It is still under the sheriff slot.

@Bxbugs123 Again, great work and such a fantastic model. The only problem Im having is with the new automatic installer. When I install the files, they work perfectly fine. But when I try to change the files out for a different car, it won't let me delete the files. Can you help me out with this or figure out a solution? Thanks!

When I tried, it appeared to copy a new carvariation file over in mpchristmas2. This can be a problem if you have cars installed, for example your Impalas. I backed up before installing.

Can't it be manual and just the three or four files manually?

Is there a version that doesn't involve any of the "My Little Pony" content? I'm just slightly amazed that you decided to make a great car model and everything and then kind of force the MLP culture onto people.

I understand that this is what you like, but could you possibly please make a version with no extras like that. And please don't take this hostile, yeah? I'm just not into this kind of stuff.

Who cares? It's 2016. Grow up. If you want to make your own mods with your own decals and background content, go for it. Not everyone is into it. Why does it matter if its in the background? It's not flying in your face when you play the game.

Wow, why so defensive right off the bat? I said don't take it in a hostile way. Which you clearly did. I just made a small request to the mod creator. And what does the current year or me growing up have to do with anything. To be quite honest, it does fly in my face considering I prefer playing first person rather than third person.

I don't have time to spend on modding, so I'd like to find good content done online. And I just like my games a bit more realistic. Thats why I wanted to go for this mod considering it has the best interior, but having some random MLP stuff in the car really throws me off as its extremely unrealistic.

Now please don't start flaming, alright? Just because MLP gets a lot of hate doesn't mean you should jump at everyone as soon someone disagrees with your hobbies.

i have a question i dont get the lights to work...i install the car to the right location but i cant find the spot where the carav. meta goes 

and with the easy installer i killed my game :(

I'm not one of these people who can't install the simplest of the mods but...this package thing is totally impractical since it replaces files that I wasn't aware it would, messing with my other cars. Great model, but a option with normal files would be much better.

You can extract the files from the .oiv via WinRAR.

i've downloaded twice to open this, but it says "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged"

Same here. I had to re-download WinRAR and install it, then it worked fine.

I know. The point here is that I didn't know which exactly files the package would replace. I am aware the idea behind this package thing is to simplify the installation process, but in my case I had much more trouble than I normally have installing mods (which is none).

Could someone mind helping me? I play Grand Theft Auto V on very high settings, and not to mention - I use VisualV. I've been trying to download this car and tried with RadianceV (bright), then very bright from another release by bxbugs123, then without RadianceV and here is what I get:
