I'm sorry if this was covered, but I can't edit the carvariations.meta file. When I go to edit mode and click on it, edit is grayed out, and when I open it I cant add, delete or change anything. Am I missing something??

sure you missing something, why you just don't read the ReadME?

If you will be able to read this, you will know that you firstly should export carvariations to you desktop

You need to edit it with a text editor like Notepad++.

This was installed in Police1 the lights are dim, I had a friend install it. How do we get them brighter? Will Radiance V work?

those unity spotlights are amazinggggggggggg. wish you added els support tho. lstg 1 with the 2 ambers and cruise lights would look amazing on this model

Love this explorer and have always used it through all the updates..but for some reason I can't get the lights to function correctly ever since the new update. I've copied your new carvar, but the lightbar looks like the blue is sideways on the roof not attached to lightbar. Any idea?

I'm not sure..thought carcols only messed with light reflections off the environment. If I'm incorrect I'll gladly double check it. Just been trying different siren and light settings because I thought carvar would be the reason I have floating blue led modules outside the light bar. I'll try anything. Was about to just reinstall the old version.

Thanks. Got it working again, it was the carcols. Again best FPIU on here in my opinion. Love the attention to detail and look forward to seeing future models from you. Bet you'd make a perfectly scaled FPI as well

I love the detail and handling of this vehicle but I cannot figure out how to replace the carcol line 🤔

I'm sure youve had this problem answered a million times but for the life of me I cannot get the lightbar to properly function. I've tried doing everything mentioned in the comments and still it looks wonky. What can I do to fix it?

I think the problem is part of the carcols but everytime I try to edit or change the file it crashes my game on startup.

Edit: Well now the only problem is that there are no siren lights at all. None. Ugh

i'm having the same problem. where the blue leds are shining in the front of the lightbar. i've replaced all the files multiple times. the author also has conflicting files in the directory than the one he gives you in the readme. the carvariations in the directory is different from the file in the readme he provides and i've tried both to no avail

I have a bug with this wonderfull FPIU mod 

The color changes on the lightbar (Blue, Red and amber) are turned 90 degrees horizontally... its very weird -

Any ideas on how to fix this?

you should install some settings

replace vehicles.meta in update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta

replace carvariations.meta in update\x64\dlcpacks\mpluxe\dlc.rpf\common\data\carvariations.meta
