[ELS][Addon] Los Santos Police Department 1.0.4

I really liked this pack. They're modeled good, but @Parzival.Zio seemed to fail with the liveries in this update.

Before the liveries were simple in design, which made this pack stand out, but now they're a downgrade. They're cluttered, poor font choice for the "The City of Los Santos", the generic Los Santos logo, and a city skyline that's not even Los Santos. Before they were clean, a unique logo that fit well with the vehicles, and a nice font. 

Since I've previously installed this before, I'll be replacing the existing liveries with the older ones. I hope nobody takes this in the wrong way, I'm just voicing my opinion, and hopefully we can get better liveries or just go back to the old ones.

I agree, I really enjoyed the simple looking liveries. Having the simple whiter lettering withe the police badge logo is the way to go. When it comes to the paint jobs the more simple the better.

same here. the previous liveries were a lot better than the new ones. i really hope to get a switchback to the old design. this makes the fleet outstanding.

OfficerArk, I want to personally thank you immensely for your time and effort into these vehicles for us. They are definitely amazing and it is incredibly kind to release such quality for free. With that said, I understand people will always ask for more but its all on your dime. If you need to charge a small fee for us to help you provide quality vehicles in the future I think some of us would be happy to assist. Thanks again.

I'm sorry you feel that way, these packs are released for free so there will always be small mistakes. Like I said, in the future I might look into it, but currently I don't think it drags this pack down 🙂

It wasn't meant in a derogatory way. I see that you got pretty packed packs, a number of them. Just think the biggest upgrade you can do now is to fix the hand placement, that's all.

I appreciate the comments. I did not like my livery I had produced for this pack and I wanted something to loosely match OKC police department, which is why the I believe the skyline is OKC. @Parzival.Zio has put a lot of effort into these liveries and I really do appreciate all the work he has done to help with this even outside of the liveries.

I have never released a car or pack with the mindset of making a good livery. I am not the best at it and wish I could release these without liveries. This is why I reached out! If y'all make liveries, please upload them so everyone can experience them and enjoy what you create as we are all here to enjoy modding GTA 5.

I am working @Parzival.Zio to make a livery that everyone is happy with!

I started uploading these models because I noticed not a lot of cars had the lighting I liked, and I felt like people would enjoy something different. I still don't feel the need to have people pay for these, as I want everyone to enjoy and access them. Along those lines, I still have basically zero knowledge on a lot of modding and model making, I am still learning every day.

At the end of the day, I am so grateful for the support and love from the community so far and I am excited to see what comes next!

The livery that I made was @OfficerArk and for others to enjoy.

I am sorry that you did not like my livery as I had always posted in our Discord please DM to help me improve my design like yours. The building is not a skyline, although it does have similarities to it around the Los Angeles business sector.

I know it wasn't derogatory. I have stated the issue will be fixed but it's not top priority. I appreciate you bringing it to my attention, and I will look into when I have a chance. 

Awesome pack. I just wanted to let you know that the 18 charger doesn't spawn and it just crashes your game. 
All of these crash your game once you tried to spawn them. I just wanted to let you know

Update: I have no issue spawning them, I do however believe it's due to texture sizes.

Message me and I will see what I can do.

These Skins ain't it sorry. Great cars. Very bad skins. The skins were so much better before!

There will be a release soon with the old liveries but updated for the new pack.

I have and will continue to take criticism every day. I've already responded to people not liking the livery, I have also addressed there would be an update. If you didn't make a comment, there would've been an update regardless.

I appreciate you voicing your concerns as well and I am happy you enjoy the models! 

Like I have said, I make these without asking for any donations or support and I just want people to enjoy them for as much time as I put into them. My honest thought when I started working on this update was, I wanted something better for this pack, I love the new liveries and I thought everyone else would too! I have been mistaken and we are working on and creating a different livery as I type this comment.

How can you make the cars spawn without alpr for backup units , all my backup shows up with alprs on the cars. I know you can change your personal unit through a trainer but how to make them spawn without alpr mounted?

You will change your backup units from e.g. "20fpiupolice" to the "20fpiupoliceNP" variant of the model.
