[ELS] BCSO 2016 FPIU with Federal Signal Valor 1.2

(9 reviews)

12 Screenshots

Features

  • 3-stage lighting with optional full frontal steady burn and takedown mode.
  • Realistic Federal Signal Valor lighting pattern.
  • Breaking glass, working dials, bullet resistant windshield, animated exhaust pipes, leaking fuel tank, high quality dirt-mapping, etc.
  • Impressive and accurate environmental lighting in all stages.
  • 4K livery based on San Mateo County Sheriff, Calif.
  • Optimized model files and textures.

Optional Equipment

  • ALPR cameras (extra 10: with ALPRs; extra 12: without ALPRs)

Installation

  • Replaces the sheriff2 slot.
  • This is a ELS/non-ELS hybrid vehicle which means it requires custom carcols/carvariations for the emergency lights to work properly.
  • The custom vehicles.meta is absolutely required otherwise the lightbar and dials will be incorrect.
  • Step by step instructions are included in the download.

Disclaimers

  • The vehicle is fictional and is not supposed to be a replica of the San Mateo County Sheriff FPIUs.

You're welcome to follow my WIP gallery where I'll be posting updates as I work on my projects.

Please do not reupload this vehicle to other websites or use this model for your own financial gain in any way, shape or form.

Please read the included instructions carefully before posting a question.

Thank you but you should probably stop asking me the same question on everything I post. I don't have plans for more LAPD vehicles at the moment. If I change my mind I will put my updated project list in my profile.

This is a beauty. What visuals do you use? The lights look amazing.

@KLE0 Going to pre-empt some comments that may complain "my lights are broken help" by saying that you've used the same siren number (33) for both this Valor equipped vehicle and your Paleto Bay Police FPIU equipped with the Liberty.

I already resolved this but some may take issue.

The screenshots are taken with VisualV but without the custom shaders.

Pretty nice pack. However, when disabling the ALPRs; the lights attached to them stay in place instead of detatching with them and its like they're not attached to anything else.

I explained this in the notes section in the instructions. Exactly one of extra_10 and extra_12 need to be enabled. This is because ALPR and non-ALPR mounts are different so you need to choose one. The cars will spawn correctly because of the extra settings defined in the vehicles.meta. If you manually toggle extras, remember to follow this requirement too.

Ah, I see now. Cheers

Hi I was wondering how do I use this car as a standalone addon without replacing the existing sheriff2 slot. I've tried several ways but it messes up the lights.

If the lights are messed up it means you did not add the carcols and carvariations properly. Check these files.

You can try downloading my FPIS add-on pack from here and see how the files are structured. But since you are able to get the car to spawn you are already very close to victory.

Thanks for the reply. Ya I downloaded your FPIS pack a few months back (awesome btw). I managed to get everything to work accordingly after around 2 hours of tweeking around. Nonetheless really nice pack. Keep it up!

Cheers!

Love the model, and its exactly what is was looking for as far as realistic antennas.  I have found a model that is near to my local department.  Would you be open to placing a Whelen Liberty on this model?  Are you planning any other vehicles with this antenna config?

I won't be adding a Liberty on this vehicle specifically, sorry -- but I do have another FPIU with the Liberty 2 planned.
