Welcome to Holster Sounds, a plugin that will play a custom sound each time a pistol is unholstered or holstered using the LSPDFR animation.

 

Brought to you by the Immersive Plugins Team

 

Some key features are:

    - Sounds are customisable for Pistol, Combat Pistol, APPistol and Pistol50.
    - All other pistols will use the 'others' sound. (there is no support for StunGun at this time)
    - Individual weapon sounds can be enabled/disabled via the ini.
    - Compatible with CopHolster (see notes below)

 

Prerequisites
- LSPDFR 0.4.9
- Ambient.DisablePlayerHolsteringActions MUST be set to false in the lspdfr.ini located in Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr

 

Installation
1. Copy contents of "Grand Theft Auto V" into your "Grand Theft Auto V" folder.
2. Edit the sounds or disable individual sounds in the ini if desired.

 

Notes
1. CopHolster - The following must be set in the copholster xml - EnableHolsterAnimations="false" and Item Animate="false"
2. Changing Sounds - All sounds can be changed, please ensure sounds are in wav format and the exact file names are used.

    I recorded couple of my own audio files and after that it's fine and dandy. Only wish it were able to work while you were sprinting. I find that if you're running the player just pulls the weapon out of thin air with no accompanying audio

    If it's an instance where the lspdfr draw animation doesn't play then the audio isn't going to play.

    Are you using the firing button or aiming button as you mentioned the lspdfr draw animation needing to play and I believe it’s not playing correctly when I press aim button from intimidating .

    not working for me too. i hearing holster sounds only when i take my gun with weapon wheel.

    I use copholster and made both corrections in the ini files for lspdfr and copholster and it doesn't show the weapon in the holster when I put the weapon away.

     

    Thoughts?

    Actually nevermind. I saw what I did wrong.

    great mod but when in cover crouching and you whip out ur gun it doesnt have a sound but just pulls out like the mod isnt enabled.

    great mod as always! is there anyway it will work with the cop holster animations because i love the sounds of this mod but also love the way that cop holster actually takes the gun in and out of the holster and the animation with that. great mod thanks

    I have recorded some of my sounds for this mod, but they don't work. All of the names add up to the original ones but the sounds dont work. Can someone help me out here?
