A Megaphone UI to use in your police car or on foot


Features:
- Change the voice of your character
- Play the in-game available megaphone audios inside your vehicle or on foot
- Pullover audio is automatically played when you perform a traffic stop
- If you use any of the "Clear Area" audio, the nearby peds & cars will scream and run away (aside from persistent peds to not mess up with callouts)

- Force pursuit suspects to stop (including inside a vehicle or on foot)

- Make nearby peds drop their guns on the floor

- Calmer version of Clear the area (makes peds walk instead of running), older version has been also tweaked, also helps clearing intersections

- Auto pullover sound has been changed for boats

- (experimental) Auto visual regained/lost sound

- Automatic temporary siren cutoff when speaking for Non-ELS vehicles

- 3 animations

- Update checker

- Automatic suspect escaped sound

- Reload configuration file without quitting LSPDFR

1st July 2021: PLEASE stop saying the plugin is outdated! If it ain't broken, I will not update it just to get some fake downloads.

Don't claim to be a support member on Discord if you don't know what you're doing.

 

Requires:

- RageNativeUI.dll (included)

The included version is outdated, get the newest one from here: https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases

- RagePluginHook (not included)

- LSPDFR 0.4.7 (not included)

 

CHECK THE .ini FILE !!

 

Keybinds :
- Press M by default (on keyboard) while in a police vehicle to show the menu (customisable in .ini file)
    - Controller:
        - DPad Up/DPad Down to scroll through the menus
        - DPad Left/DPad Right to go through the lists items
        - A to go to a menu, B to go back
    - Keyboard:
        - Up Arrow/Down Arrow to scroll through the menus
        - Left Arrow/Right Arrow to go through the lists items
        - Enter to go to a menu, Backspace to go back

- The radius for both Clear The Area/No loitering allowed & Clear The Area (Warning) are now customizable in the .ini

- Tweaks with how the megaphone prop is spawned/despawned, to hopefully fix the megaphone getting stuck issue

- Added a "Settings & Medias" menu, where you can do the things listed below:

  • Force delete megaphone prop(s): if your megaphone gets stuck for some reason, you can force all megaphones present in the game world to be deleted
  • Reload settings: the MegaphoneUI.ini configuration file will be reloaded, without you needing to reload LSPDFR!
  • Open various pages in your default browser, such as my Discord server, YouTube channel, Patreon supporter page, PayPal donation link, and the download page (LCPDFR.com)

    fantastic , finally , we can "scream" to the distracted ped at the center of the pedestrian crossings , does not even overwrite the voice during a chase of a ped on foot ? when you are in the car and you interact with a ped that runs away, always intimate to stop ? your mod is an external addition right ? it does not overwrite or cancel anything else , tomorrow I try it , if it does not overwrite the female voice , I use a female agent , and it is as I think 5 stars nobody takes them away , I hope in other additions in the future besides "clear the way", which is still the most used and important , another curiosity , I hope the cars do not move like crazy , but always on a regular basis , sorry for all these questions but it is a mod that I was expecting, especially with a female voice, a Japanese friend is trying with "megaphone lapd" but only has male voices ,      ( sorry for bad english )

    Hello, as stated in the description, 4 female voices are available (2 white & 2 black female voices). Yes it is indeed an external addition (I think you meant plugin), so it doesn't overwrite anything. The cars do not crazy but the peds might do, I will try to make it better in the future. At moment this LAPD audio etc from Gary isn't compatible with my plugin, since my plugin uses internal audio in the GTA 5 files, and not an external folder (I'm working on it). I hope you enjoy the plugin.

    Here in France we are restricted too. My mom had to get an authorization to buy food & also to go to work (she helps disabled persons).

    Wonderful plugin! But maybe in the future we can communicate with the driver or peds with our own voice? That will be cool! Add lssd audio because I am from sheriff office.

    Appreciate it! For talking with our own voice, Rich is already doing a plugin about it. As for adding audio, it is a project.

    Maybe you can add an feature where the suspect will stop their vehicle without pressing shift when the stop car audio is played

    glad someone finally made a "clear area" script! been wanting that ever since i found out that audio was in the game. will this work with gang members or will it make them angry? also i was wondering if it could be made to where peds calmly walk away rather than run? also i recommend you put install instructions at the top of the readme just so its more visable. i couldn't find it at first

    a curiosity , the female voice , when I select it, unlike the men "white1, black1", only female1 female2 appears , and they also seem so equal to me , sure they are different ? female1 is meant "white" and female2 "black", thank you in ancient times , ps in the game it wanderfull , great job thanks for making it public

    That was the first intent but I decided to do it the other way around because I didn't find how to do it using the LSPDFR API (I can detect pullovers but I can't create one myself it looks like).

    Thanks for your feedback! Since there is a calm & a panic version of "clear area" audios, I will keep the current reaction for panic (with some tweaks), and I implement a version where they still go away but walking instead of running for calm.

     

    It works for every ped as long as they are not persistent (meaning they haven't been created by a callout).

     

    I will also change the readme to make it clearer.

    I do not understand what you mean for that first sentence. Indeed some voices seem equal but they are different, the sound files at least are.

    Can you be more precise about "white1 black1 female1 female2"?

    why don't you preview them for yourself instead of blowing up comments? 

     

     

    I do like this and ive used it. Pretty cool feature that they actually listen to us and disperse now. My only issue is I personally use the SMY white cop mini 03 aka LEMME SEE THOSE HANDS voice. So whenever I use this it takes my voice away and replaces it with whatever I have selected. Ill still give a review but I might have to not use this since that character only has like 2 megaphone audios

    I didn't include the "mini" voices since they don't have megaphone audio. I could add them back but then people will have to keep in mind that there is no megaphone audio for the mini voices. Thanks for your feedback !

    When pressing shift maybe the audio can be less aggressive. Instead of saying "lspd stop the car now!" can change to "driver can you pull over to the side". Right now stop the car, stop the car warning are all the same "tone"

    great! may i also recommend having it to where its optional if you want your guy to yell at everyone person they want to pull over. and also make it an option if you also want cars to flee. not sure it thats an option though. gonna include helicopter audio and SAHP as well? anyway great mod and i hope this gets worked on and refined.

    For letting choice to player to enable/disable some features in a .ini, that will be in the next update. For additionnal audio, I can't promise anything for the moment but I'm working on it. Thanks for your support.

    The way it works in the game files is that you access the audios using preset strings, but those strings are attached to multiple audio. When I eventually figure out how to play external audio, that will be an option 🙂
