Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Just installed lspdfr and went to install the latest version of els today and it crashes so im assuming we will get an update for advance hook?

    Whenever I download the ELS V1.05 file, I do not get the ELS.ini file only the asi, ELS, and advanced hook, therefore my ELS folder in open IV isnt working.

    Tried all fixes I could find, still getting the ELS.asi ID:3 crash. Is this just not able to be fixed anymore or what?

    Hello everyone, I am Vietnamese, I am using google translate, so I hope everyone understands me. I hope everyone can help me. The problem is that I go to the patrol car and open ctrl P normally, but when I press the "J" key 3 times, my game is exited. I have followed the instructions to update the new ELS and everything.     Ok so I gave up a couple of months. Updated and kept crashing. I have a ton of custom files so rebuilding would mean starting from scratch. Then a break up slight depression I needed my LSPDFR control my own little world with cool cop cars. So this weekend I vowed to make my old files work. Delicatly adding back in files starting game and back and forth. SO got it all loaded and working but ELS asi crash. Nothing good as far a support, stumbled on an old post and someones ELS log, comment said delet Firetruk well in the log it crashed. So  So again I looked at my log....... over 25 ELS crashes on certain vehicle XML, I added what you should be looking for. DELETE the BAD ELS XML's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MY LIFE HAS MEANING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get your files fixed and get gaming BOYS and GIRLS!!!!!!!!! Damn mother loving pain in the ass, was about to give up and run Impound callouts!!!!! GO GO GO GOGo

    Remove your ELS VCF folder, if game doesnt crash then you have a bad VCF rebuild starting with your core model VCFs

    does anyone know why whenever I click e the car just honks ELS is working fine but it doesnt turn on the sirens I also have the ability to hold certain keys for a siren sound it just doesnt stay

    Assuming your not using a controller, and your using add on cars, it should be J to activate then your numbers 1-6, E just activates air horn. Also make sure your using your stage 3 otherwise sirens wont work. If using controller, its Dpad left to get to stage 3 then Dpad down to activate sirens.

    check the readme, i don't have this anymore, but it should be J, not E

    UPDATE: MAKE SURE TO REMOVE DLS FILES AS THAT WAS THE PROBLEM
