Can you make this with Batons/Nightsticks please? I'd like to pull the bad cop card and beat the fuck out of suspects without killing them.

Is the file misspelled? There is 'damages.meta' in the folder, the file provided is 'damage.meta'

this has been needed since the beginning of time. sooooo many times i've been trying to exit my radio and punch someone right in the mouth and kill them..i'm guilty of at least 300 or so innocent deaths

Small bug: the file name in your download is "damage.meta" when it should be "damages.meta".  So if someone simply adds the file to the RPF instead of right click --> replacing the original damages.meta file, it will be added but won't work.

But can peds still die in fist/nightstick combat?

There's a similar mod over on GTA-5 Mods that knocks out peds when in hand to hand combat and doesn't let them die, but it doesn't work with nightsticks.

Yes but mine works with nightsticks

So you just upload a allready existing mod in which you changed a number of the nightstick damage..

@Newfield Would you prefer he make a separate mod, one for fists and one for nightsticks? His is a direct edit of the games damage file where the other recent one is a script. Do you complain there are a million CVPIs too? 

I don't know if it's my installation as I see other players here who using it and probably have no problems with this mod.

I installed the mod as it says in the text file you included with the ZIP file, but when I hit someone in-game it's like the punch doesn't effect him.

It broke the hit system.

All you have to do is rename it and add a "s"

When comparing this to https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/brawler-mod the damages.meta files are exactly the same (you still have the file incorrectly named damage.meta, btw).

I already had that mod installed so I wanted to see if there was a difference, and it just so happens that there isn't. So you should probably give credit to the guy that made that mod, and fix the filename that you indicated was already fixed.

I had no idea there was another mod so why should I give credit?
