What's New in Version 2.1

Released

What’s New in 2.0!

We’ve upgraded to Version 2.0 with the following additions:

  • Updated ReadMe File: The readme.txt file is now a .md file and also updated it
Made By The DeputyModsBeta Team

Owner: DeputyRyan
Co-Owner: Nick D

Optimized for

  • Ambient FX

Ambient FX is a mod that seeks to enhance the effects used across the game in a very natural way. This first version has enhanced fire/smoke/smog effects for vehicles. These effects (both looped and non looped particle effects) will apply to ALL vehicles, not just the players. Smoke trails can now be seen blocks away, fire and embers effects have been enhanced, and a neat smog effect that grows depending on the amount of vehicles on fire as well being contained to that given area. This is a very good modification because it means that when you are tasked with a vehicle on fire, you need to be more careful because the time it takes for the flames to burn and the speed at which they spread will be greatly increased. You need to be more careful to manage the vicinity of the vehicle on fire. Traffic to avoid causing more damage. Of course the best part is that you no longer have to worry about the fire being out when your fire unit comes to the scene because at the damn speed he comes to the scene, in the original version the fire has been naturally extinguished. I I really like this change because it's more realistic

    @枫叶 我会推荐我的另一个模型“DeputyRyansFireFX,更加真实”,请告诉我你的想法!

I have been using it for a few days and the effect is very good, but I think there is a drawback: 1: The damage of the flame is too high and the vehicle can easily explode (the firefighting unit I called has blown up several fire trucks) 2: The flame is too long-lasting, even the fire truck The water pump can't help it. 3: The flame spreads too fast (it can also be solved by solving problem 2. Of course, it may also be related to the fact that I used the highest configuration file). I don't know if the file you recommended to me will solve my current problem. question, I will try

Sure, thanks for the feedback. It sounds like you're getting the full experience of DeputyRyansFireChaosFX! Just a heads-up: this mod is designed to create extreme chaos, so it's not really meant for the roleplay you're aiming for. If you're looking for a more controlled experience, you might want to consider using a different mod. Let me know how the new file works out for you!.

Thank you for your answer! I tried another file you recommended to me and it was great, but like this plug-in, the fire was too difficult to put out (which makes me wonder if the persistence of the flame is related to the difficulty of putting it out). What I need is the right amount. Modifications that improve the burning time and spread of flames and have a similar extinguishing speed to the original version because my purpose is to prevent the flames from extinguishing when the firefighters I call arrive at the scene.

I asked this before and posted in ExplosionFX area, which was wrong. I was not paying attention. Still though, Im confused where to install these bc the path seems identical and file names are identical. Also, there is no existing firefx.dat file in this location.

    FireFX Installation Path: GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/effects

    FireFX Chaos Installation Path: GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/effects

There's no fire.dat file in that location, but once you place mine there, it will work perfectly!

Thank you for your query. You are correct that both FireFX and FireFX Chaos are installed in the same directory:

    FireFX Installation Path: GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/effects
    FireFX Chaos Installation Path: GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/effects

However, even though they share the same installation path, these two modifications are not compatible with each other. Each mod may include different or conflicting files that can cause issues when used together. If you wish to use both mods, you will need to choose one or ensure that they are compatible by reviewing their documentation or seeking updates from the mod developers.

If you have further questions or need additional assistance, please let me know.
