[EUP] Detective unit for UltimateBackup 1.0.0

Have you ever needed a detective unit for something? Problably not, but here it is anyway.

This is a SpecialUnit for UltimateBackup, which uses EUP 8.1 Uniforms. Los Santos, Los Santos County and Blaine County have different detectives. Detectives either come with a suit or withour a suit.

I'm planning on adding Code 3 Detective unit (with vest) and possibly a windbreaker option, if anyone is interested.

You need these:

Special thanks to @TreadRed for making Backup+, which adds eup uniforms to backup.

Optimized for

  • Ultimate Backup (All In One Backup)

I created this plugin to replace the default LSPDFR Police Backup menu and combine the power of my previous three backup plugins to assist the player during traffic stop, pursuit, and on scene situations. More over, you can also customize the police units components, properties, and weapons based on regions and zones in LSPDFR.   !!! ATTENTION !!! Please DO NOT post a review based on your game crashing problem if you are not sure what causes it. Ultimate Backup has been stable

Good to have for when you're running plain clothes yourself and want to use UltimateBackUp's partner feature.  Would love a female option, together with the Gang Unit outfit.

Great idea. I often play as a plain clothes detective and find that my partner options are limited. Quick question; how do I get these units in the game? I've installed correctly as per instructions, however they never show up and I can't find a way to call them directly.

Please disregard. They arrived. I'll test it out and review shortly! If I was going to be picky, I'd point out that the detectives wear sheriff badges, not detective badges.

This is done based on EUP. In EUP, the only available badges for county sheriffs are the sheriff badges 🙂

My guy wears this from EUP. It didn't matter where I called the detective backup from, they only wore the sheriff badge.

So if you call them from inside los santos, do they still arrive with sheriffs badges? If so, then can you send me your SpecialUnits.xml? It depends on your region setting, but some region configs can cause parts of los santos to be under LS County Sheriffs juristiction, so they might dispatch as LSCS

Its strange. Yesterday, no matter from where in SA I called a detective from, they would show up with a sheriff badge, however today it's worked based on jurisdiction just fine 😕 Nothing has changed however working as intended. Thanks again - great mod.
