I followed your read me, but when I jump into my game, my EUP menu says I do not have the law and order eup installed. I tried both the automatic and manual install and both do the same

Just to verify for my sanity, this won't overwrite current emergency ped models, will it? (Such as s_m_y_cop)  I installed a full pack of emergency peds, don't want them gone.

no it won't it only modifiy ne neccesary file for EUP to work accordingly

I've used the automatic installation to my mods folder however when I go into the EUP folder in the dlcpacks folder there is nothing there.

    @Alex_Ashfold Why is this so hard to install? Even the oiv package installer is fucked up. When I try to extract the files it says they are corrupt, and when I try the manual installation my game crashes every single time. I've literally been sitting here now for almost 5 hours straight trying every single thing but nothing ends up working. Can you please help me? I want to use this mod so bad right now, it looks so dope from the screenshots!

    I manual installed mine and it did not overwrite my existing characters. Only a custom vest i installed was replaced. I have both the Law and the addon Rescue installed.

     

    For everyone having trouble installing, Just follow the read exactly like it says, step by step.

    Preparation:

    -mods/update/update.rpf/common/data   Find this xml file "dlclist.xml"

    -open/edit dlclist.xml and scroll down until you find this "<Item>dlcpacks:\eup\</Item>"         DELETE this line.

    Then go to:

    -mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/ and delete the eup folder

     

    Install

    -mods/update/update.rpf           Open the update.rpf folder that is in the rar you downloaded

    you will seee the x64 folder and the dlc_patch

    Just drag and drop each folder so it can install. It will be the same for serve and rescue addon.

     

    The menu is a simple root directory drop.

    Use the uninstaller, revamp, and go back through the manual uninstall process to make sure. Then reinstall, a small mistake was made somewhere, could of been just a file messed up.

    Do you have RDE installed?   I had the same issue.  When removed all mods and started over.  Law and order worked.  I then install RDE back in and broke.  I tried reinstalling law order it stays broke.  Seems the two are not working together currently.

    Even with clean install with rde installed it said it was not installed.   There appears to be some compatibility issue between this and rde.  Not sure what exactly.

    all models are HD versions of RDE. Alex helps create the peds in RDE

    Doesn't work with the current version of RDE, not sure if you're waiting for a new version of RDE, SHV, or if you're working to make it compatible but this is a big disappointment for me

    Did you update your RPH? I think ScripthookV is out of date with the new RPH. Im not sure if that would make a difference. Did you follow the steps i listed above?

    No I didnt. Haven't updated anything since that dark day open iv was shut down for that exact reason, script hook not being updated
