vkghari's Concord State Police Siren
The siren repository is the main source for locating all of my siren modifications. In the repository i have linked all of my uploaded sirens to the LSPDFR website for easy location. Click the Siren Repository to be taken to my page where all of the listed sirens are.
INSTALLATION GUIDE (FiveM Ready Version):
1. Download the FiveM Ready Version from the download page
2. Extract the folder from the archive (.7z) to your desktop for easy location
3. Open up the GTA 5 Directory where your GTA5.exe is (it should be Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Grand Theft Auto V)
4. In the GTA5.exe directory go to x64 -> audio -> data -> sfx -> and find your RESIDENT.rpf file
5. Drag and drop the downloaded RESIDENT.rpf file and if prompted to replace the RESIDENT.rpf file, click yes. This will remove the old/default sirens, and install the downloaded siren that you want.
INSTALLATION GUIDE (RAW Audio Files):
1. Download the RAW Audio Files and ArchiveFix from the download page
2. Extract the folders from the archive (.7z) to your desktop for easy location
3. Open up OpenIV and toggle Edit Mode
4. When OpenIV is opened and edit mode has been toggled on go to x64 -> audio -> data -> sfx -> and find your RESIDENT.rpf file
5. Double click on the RESIDENT.rpf file to open the .rpf directory
6. Right click on vehicles.awc and click on Export to OpenFormats (.oac)
7. Save the file to a new folder made on your desktop
8. Open the downloaded RAW siren files folder and the vehicles folder where your exported audio files are, if you made a new folder on your desktop you should have a vehicles folder and a vehicles.oac file
9. Drag and drop the downloaded RAW siren files directly into the vehicles folder and click on replace files
10. Open up OpenIV and toggle Edit Mode
11. When OpenIV is opened and edit mode has been toggled on go to x64 -> audio -> data -> sfx -> and find your RESIDENT.rpf file
12. On the top bar click on NEW -> Import openFormats
13. Locate the new folder on your desktop where you have the vehicles folder and vehicles.oac file
14. Double click the vehicles.oac file and when opened click OK to install the downloaded sirens
15. Close OpenIV and open the ArchiveFix folder
16. Open up the RESIDENT.rpf file where your GTA 5 Directory is is (it should be Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Grand Theft Auto V ->x64 -> audio -> data -> sfx -> RESIDENT.rpf )
17. Drag and drop the RESIDENT.rpf file onto ArchiveFix.exe to fix your broken archive
18. ArchiveFix will open and inform you that your broken archive is now fixed
Some mods you find on download pages may have broken .rpf files, to fix that you need ArchiveFix.
All FiveM Ready Version mods found on vkghari's profile on LSPDFR have been tested and checked for broken archives.
