[Siren Mastery / ELS] FS Unitrol Omega 90 with Powercall DX5 1.2

   (6 reviews)

1 Screenshot

Here is my first upload on the website !

I tried to get as close as possible to real life with this siren, it still needs a lot of work since the tones are not of the best quality but I may have found a higher quality version so this may not be the definitive one.

It has 10 different tones including the sweep on the Omega 90. I also included new click sounds for the siren switches as well as a config file you can use on the vehicle of your choice. (Sorry in advance if I incorrectly named the tones, feel free to correct me!)

NEW:  ELS COMPATIBLE VERSION INCLUDED

This siren mod is also for Siren Mastery by Albo1125 :

What's New in Version 1.2

Released

- Updated sounds, higher quality.

- New tones, it now has all the tones from the Omega

-Updated ReadMe

Special thanks to Fairfax Police, Fire and EMS responses on YouTube for allowing me to sample their videos!

Question, I am not familiar with sirens. Is this used by our police here? Example video, at the end of the pursuit there is a perfect multitone set

Edit! HEY! It's a touchmaster. LOL

I couldn't really tell how many agencies use it but the Fairfax County Police Department has it on their CVPI's (where I got the samples). I mainly did this siren because of this video below, it's not exactly the same tones but it gets close :

I know it's a Christmas tree haha! I just love how unique the siren is. It's also used by some EMS vehicles in the US as well.

I just realized  that our police motorcycles and some of the cars use this because of the unique screen. I always wondered who the heck made the siren cause it sounded weird to me. Lol

Here it one of the vids for giggles.

Oh man that's awesome! Thanks for the info, it's good to know where those sirens are used! They're usually pretty rare.

Could you make an xml so it is on all the police and sheriff vehicles? I would myself but every time I try I always get an error in the coding.

Have you tried to copy and paste the config I made ? Make sure you don't have the sheriff config twice. I've been really busy if I get some time off I'll try to do that xml for you.

At 0:40 in the video, is there some way that I can add just that tone in with my current sirens? That's my favorite Powercall tone.

If you want to use it on siren mastery there's no problem you can just use your siren and then add it on the config. If you want to use it with your in-game sirens you can do that as well you just have to rename it to the siren hash of your choice.

If you want to include it in your sirens then sure go ahead.

@QuentinJericho, could please make vehicles.awc file for els, I've tried open formats import by renaming the files and every time I try it mutes all sounds. Is there a tutorial to do awc files I would learn and do it. I really like this siren. Thanks for sharing this with the community.

@Dippa @S1lentKn1ght I just got back on LSPDFR / GTA after a 5 months break, sorry for the late reply, I plan on making it ELS compatible soon, it won't have all the tones but I'll try my best to make it compatible for the main tones! Will update the file as soon as it's done!

The new base game / ELS version of the siren will be released tomorrow, I have almost all the tones completed. I'll include all of the tones (except the sweep due to filesize) in the download so you'll be able to choose which one you'd like. (maximum of 4 with ELS) I've included an easy install version (through vehicles.awc) and a manual install so you can replace the siren you want.

Stay tuned y'all !

@QuentinJericho For the ELS version, you forgot to include the vehicles folder.  I don't believe the vehicles.awc will work if there's no vehicles folder.

The vehicles.awc is drag and drop, only the vehicles.oac requires the vehicles folder I think.

I just tested, it worked on my install. Tell me if you encounter any problem.

Unfortunately, this is not the case.  I just tried, and OpenIV didn't even show me the vehicles.awc file for your siren. I even tried moving it to another location, and still nothing. I believe there has to be a vehicles folder.

Alright, that's strange, I've added the vehicles folder + the vehicles.oac file. Hope this works!
