DiversePD is a script that allows you to use the "fbi", "noose", and "polpatriot" slots as regular patrol vehicles in GTA IV. Typically, only "police" and "police2" spawn. This changes the game (literally).

I'm not a scripter, but I used my limited knowledge to make this script usable. I'm not responsible if you break your game somehow. If this works for you, awesome! If not, sorry. 

 

To install: Simply drag and drop "DiversePD.vb" into your scripts folder.

​You can change what vehicle slot by hitting CTRL + F and searching one of the already used slots, and replacing it with the vehicle type you want.

​Right click the file and click "open with", then select NotePad. Then follow the previous instructions.

mine crashes everytime .. says something about noose.. then it just stops working ( game doesnt crash only the script)

Nice, make one for EFLC and the ability to (enable = true/false in script list) choose the patrol cars spawn in traffic.

Excellent addition and adds huge diversity to the police traffic. TO FIX THIS MOD look for the lines that read like below:

d = v.CreatePedOnSeat(VehicleSeat.Driver, "M_Y_Cop", RelationshipGroup.Cop)
c = v.CreatePedOnSeat(VehicleSeat.RightFront, "M_Y_Cop", RelationshipGroup.Cop)

One of the lines is misspelled/mis pasted or something to read:

d = v.CreatePedOnSeat(VehicleSeat.Driver, "M_Y_Cop_Cop", RelationshipGroup.Cop)   <-------------
c = v.CreatePedOnSeat(VehicleSeat.RightFront, "M_Y_Cop", RelationshipGroup.Cop)

Modify the "M_Y_Cop_Cop" to just read "M_Y_Cop".................Save and run the game. once you see the error its pretty obvious what you have to do.

I believe it was in the Noose section which is where the errors were comming from

This mod still crashes, even though I applied Acrylicninja's fix. Can you fix this mod?

I used the fix, and it works...too much. It spawns too many police cars in places where civilians don't go, and sometimes, right in front of you. If I could rate this, I would give it three stars for those faults, but it is a good mod on paper.

Yep, even in places where cars do not spawn, but are mapped to drive around (e.g: Colony Island car park). That's why I uninstalled it.

It works well, it just needs heavy tweaking.

Hey! Love this mod, but I would like it even better if I didn't have to reload it every 2 minutes because it crashed. Keep getting this error;
