This script allows user's to intimidate criminals using the hand on holster animation.(Much like in GTA V)  

Scenario: You pull over a person and get out of vehicle Press Z to activate animation. Once you've  dealt with person press X to deactivate animation.

This is only a beta version please test and give thoughts 

 

Credit: Carlos Bray for scripting. 

Next version: Hand on shoulder mic animation while using f12 to call in ID

 

Instructions:

Using open iv add animation file to anim section then go to gta iv scripts folder and add script files.

 

Update: Added INI to set animation to any key.

Can now discard weapon from side of holster.

ATTENTION:

works only with handgun.

Just add animation using openiv

What's New in Version 1.7 Police radio hotfix

Released

UPDATE 1.7  Now able to request tow truck Please watch video. Must press T near vehicle officer's want towed. 

Please install tow truck model in file. Must replace nstocade can't use other model.

Hotfix update 1.7

Added a option for players to change what vehicle they'd like the tow truck to be set as. Also added an option to change vehicle select. Meaning the T key can be switched to whatever your desire is. this way it's not interfering with ELS. Repaired overall stability.

That is fro the sake of using the realistic gun holster. If you were to set the cords right the gun would fit into the empty holster perfectly. I provided everything in the download that would make it fit just right. However if you prefer to use only the hand on holster animation I suggest downloading the very first file.

Not the animation becuase spark doesn't allow you to edit the animations using open iv is mandatory

I'm excited for this mod because I kinda didn't like the radio being taken out of a "magic" pocket and I have some uniforms that have the radio on the side.

I have a question, it's possible to replace old lcpdfr radio animation (when I hit F12 to chek ID he taken out radio of a pocket)  with new shoulder mic ? If you know what I mean...  :unsure:

Yes its possible that what I tried to do, I replaced all out of pocket walkie talkie animations with this one, but it seems that lcpdfr uses its own animation within its mod and I can't uncode it.

sorry to disturb you but i'm a bit confused with this mod,maybe i've done something wrong when i install it in the game. For the hand on holster animation i have no problem but i when i put out my handgun it makes the gta 4 basic animation,how to put out the gun from the holster ? please help me i really like this mod.

Did you only replace the ones that fell under the default cop animations? Because while I was trying out this mod, scrolling through all the animtions in the game, I noticed a there is a .wad file named "amb@security_idles_a" that has some walkie talkie animations within it that are slightly differen't than the ones found in the "cop_wander_radio.wad" Now I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain those animations are the same ones used by the LCPDFR mod when checking peds I.D and at trafficstops. Also when I  had a quick look through LCPDFR's main files I couldn't see any hint of animations being imbeded within the coding. Maybe you could take a look at replacing those security_idles_a animations with this mod to see if it works? :smile:

Yes I thought about that as well. I may try them and test them once more. If so then I will update it.

Ok so I replaced the animation still same result play the animation, Hey I am giving full permission to edit the animation if You want feel free
