Norwegian Police Skin-pack for GTAIV version 0.5

You need Open IV or Spark IV to import these files into the componentpeds.img file.

Via SparkIV or OpenIV find your GTAIV folder, and inside " GTAIV/pc/models/cdimages/ " you will find

componentpeds.img.

Import the files in this archive into the componentpeds.img file using SparkIV or OpenIV.

Hopefully this fixes some of the bugs of the last versions! :) Please lemme know if there

are anything that i can improve or do otherwise!

Restrictions does still stop me from modifying the textures any further.. For that i have to remodel the whole ped file, which is still ( as far as i know ) not doable via either Zmodeler or 3DS.

Hopefully this will change :)

What's New in Version 0.5

Released

  • 0.5 Fixed some texture problems. reskinned some peds. Added the Whole .wtd file so that it would be easier to add the textures to the game :)
  • 0.4 Tried to fix some reflection issues, and some backflipped slipped chipped "POLITI" logo's :) Hope you like it.. Hopefull to redo the whole PEDs when i get the tools and time :)
  • 0.3 Beta. Added Hat textures :P Soon planning to try to remap the Peds.. oh well :) Wish me luck!
  • 0.2 Beta. Added SWAT Units, Helipilot and Crouching Tacticat Dude :)

didnt work. How do i get the original uniforms out of the game? think they crash with the norwegian ones.

    You have to replace the original ped textures as described in the Readme file. Just make a backup of the componentped.img file, and open the other one in SPARK IV and find and replace the texture files :) Just remember to replace all variants of skins, or there will be some cops running around with default skins, and someone running around with the new ones :)

    Lower part texture is the same for almost every model, so if the texture file is named Lower.png, it means its "universal" and can be used for ALL lower texture files on that Ped.

    Most other Ped's have several liveries and those files need to be in the right spot for the game to render it proper.

    and sometimes SPARKIV does not save textures you have imported, and you have to re-import them.. Hate it, but its a SPARKIV glitch.

    I see you also have the blackbars on the Ford Mondeo lightbar. have you managed to get rid of them?
