2010 Ford Crown Victoria PI DEV Model (V1.0)

Hello LCPDFR!

This is an unlocked base model development model of the unmarked '10 CVPI I recently uploaded.
It is composed of the model from the Forza game series and various parts from NFS Heat, then further optimized for GTA V.

The body paint and interior colours are already setup and ready for in game use. However, refer to the guide for carvariations.meta included in this archive, for further clarification.

The .YTD files for this vehicle have been included. Please refrain from adjusting properties of the included textures (unless you know what you are doing), so they appear as intended.

Included in this archive is various guides to help you setup the animated transmission, in game carvariations.meta setup and ambient occlusion body mapping.

A template for the body is also included for livery creation.

This vehicle has full LOD's configured, so ensure you export your vehicle correctly:
- The standard .yft export (polcvpi2.yft for example), should include all LOD's EXCEPT THE HIGHEST.
- The _hi.yft export (polcvpi2_hi.yft for example), should only include the HIGHEST LOD ONLY.

This should become the new standard for a CVPI base model. Exceptionally well done

I made edits using Hanako's headlights, tail lights and wheels and it looks amazing

Could contain: vehicle, land vehicle, wheel, outdoor, text, law enforcement, police, police car, transport, full-size car, tire, ford crown victoria police interceptor, auto part, road, car, street

Am I able to use this to make it into a police vehicle and sell it?

Hi Andrew, sorry for my late response.

As stated in the terms of use, you can use this vehicle for commercial purpose. But you MUST provide original credits with your release.

I apologize if the wording in the terms of use were confusing.

I made an updated template using my Object Space technique, this is an amazing base and I thank BC for bringing it to my attention! Enjoy the templates and happy modding!

EDIT: When using the Window Template PLEASE overlay the existing window texture under your decals from the YTD to keep proper window tints, sun screens, and rear heating coils.

@PSource

I got a question. Is there a cvpi havis console that would fit your model?

Also, I created one of those transparent AO Shadow Maps created for other big bases in the dev community.
To use place between your paint and your decals layers, and set the opacity to around 20-30%
