GTA V Default lighting Guide Final

4 Screenshots

--GTA V Default Lighting Car Info--

I took the liberty of going through each vehicle and looking at what it takes to actually
make the default lights work on each car. It took a while to do and I figured it would make
it easier for you guys to actually make GTA V police cars.

-This has no example models in it, and are the steps that i use every time i set up lights on a
new vehicle.

-Not all of the vehicles that are in GTA are done, some like the policeb have the most stupid
steps i've ever seen, so some of them are possibly incomplete.

-This is not a conversion guide, simply a lighting guide.

-Please dont message me on how to do the lighting. I have included the entire list of steps.

-ONLY MESSAGE ME IF YOU CAN'T DO IT AT ALL. IF YOU SEND ME A MESSAGE OR POST
A COMMENT ASKING ME HOW TO DO IT, I WILL SIMPLY SAY READ THE READ ME.

-I'm also releasing this so that people understand how to make models, and in hopes of
people releasing quality models.

Please enjoy and happy modding!

So it scales downwards, and you have no issues

i never had any problems with the scaling and i usually scale from the left viewport, so i can see both the dummies and the mesh.i then usually scale it back to make sure it scaled correctly.

although sometimes the lights wont line up/work ingame, but they are still scaled right, idk how to fix it atm

Trust me, scale from top view. I used to be like you and scale from wherever and my lights wouldn't line up sometimes, I scaled from top view and bam.

It's VERY simple to do.

It is. Sorry I'm kind of new to model making in general.

You place the emissive where you want it to flash, compound it as an extra that you want and volla, you have working lights.
