[DEV] Code 3 Defender QuadCore (BYO) 1.0.0

1 Screenshot

This is new version of the Code 3 Defender light which use's new light-heads. The quadcore Defender.

It is provide in a 'Build you own' state meaning you can config the light bar to your taste, here are the parts that I have included:
48" Base
52" Base
Quad 3 light module
Quad 6 light module
Both Outboard covers (OB)
Both Long Center Covers (LC)
Short Centre. (SC)

with these you should be able to make any one the size's from 23" all the way up to 94" (see txt file for cover layout).

I made this so people can layout a lightbar to suit their taste.

!!!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!!
This is NOT a GAD part there IS some work to it being that you chose how it is suit up.

I'm not sure if "any" game will allow you to use this due to the fact that the vehshare file is .ytd and IV's vehshare is a .wtd

I think that you should have spent a bit more time with extractions when you release a dev object that can be used for both games. By that, I mean to have a GTA V folder and then a GTA IV folder with the correct content that is required.

Anyway, you did a good job on making this object and I hope to see some more releases!

@0taku Can you possibly do the GTA 5 version of the Code 3 Javelin? It doesn't need to be perfect, I understand the lights will not flash just like IRL, but I want to have a lightbar that the troopers in FL (FHP) use.

Would love to have the lightbar,

Would love to have the lightbar,

Currently I'm alittle busy with other things right now to make this

u can always do it yourself. using open iv to extract the textures from the ytd and using this program to convert the yft to ddf ( and import it into zmodeler from there)

No, not now man, I'm sure you have other things to do, especially outside of modeling. Whenever you get the free time. I am a generous tipper, just saying, not offering payment, but would love to "buy you a coffee or ten "

You do know that .dff is the .ytd of San Andreas? OpenIV can export the textures just fine.

Sorry but what are you trying to say? The archive includes vehshare.ytd ('td' stands for texture dictionary, opposed to 'ft' which stands for fragment) and this texture archive can be opened with OpenIV, it's the stock vehshare found in the game.

How install it?!

You need to use a paid copy of zmodler3 to be able to add it to a car and export it.

Turns out the axis in the z3d might be screwed up, and causes the lights to screw up also. might be something you want to look into.
