I hate writing descriptions so, this is what I have been working on for a few months (along with XScanner 2 and Automatic Roadblocks 2, all the plugins are kind of intertwined, Most Wanted and Roadblocks are dependent on XScanner, Most Wanted was something I made because roadblocks made every pursuit way too easy). I know all my plugins take a long ass time to eventually come out (not counting the 5 or so years I was unable to work on anything but I'm a sucker for polishing. I will attempt to write a more lengthy explanation about everything in a while. (and before anyone complains about the video quality; yes, my hardware encoder is kind of on the fritz so it is what it is) Most Wanted features persistent fully randomized racers with custom AI, that will try to get away by using high speed, oil slicks, spikes, nitro, smokescreens, EMP mines, good old ramming you off the road and more. Every bit of information about them is tracked. So for now, The "coming soon tm playlist":

I will be releasing (hopefully) all my outdated and unfinished work over the summer, starting with the stuff that takes the least work. Sadly I lost quite a bit of my source due to an error on my end which required me to decompile and rebuild my own stuff which takes a bit of time. I will be splitting off things from plugins to be able to release them quicker, like removing Blacklist from Automatic Roadblocks and into its own plugin.

Just put them in plugins/lspdfr/xscanner/audio/default/xchattr They can be mp3, they need to be named xchattr_000 (where 0 is a number) you can start from 001 since the default ones use another format and extension. In the next version I'll change it so it accepts any filename within that folder/subfolder

You'll need to test this for yourself by adding plugins one by one, but it's very unlikely.

I'd start with throwing some of the shady callout plugins out, something is freezing on load, there's 2 plugins who use the apiexample namespace...meaning plugins by people with no coding experience. And you have cheep in twice

Backgroundscanner on ped has already been added in the ini of the latest version. MoreRadioChatter uses the standard lspdfr scanner to play its audio, which XScanner overrides (if relay is enabled in the ini). If its not playing correctly that's on MoreRadioChatter's end.

it just plays it at full volume without spatial blending as opposed to playing it in 3d space from the vehicle.

It stops as soon as a call comes in as to not interfere with any callout audio timing.

Just uploaded an update which should fix most of these issues, should be available soon after approval by staff. BackgroundScanner volume can now be increased from the ini on the new version, i will look into the intro and outro sounds if theres an issue with that. I'll add an option to play the background scanner constantly from the player in the next version.

Only the ambient background chatter yes. Callout sounds will still play normally wherever you are.

If MoreRadioChatter just calls the LSPDFR API it should work just fine. The background chatter volume is fixed, mainly because it is truly playing in 3d space from the vehicle, not just adjusting volume in relation to the distance, the volume control only applies to actual calls to the police scanner (callouts, etc). And no, XScanner was made because the default scanner was seriously lacking in function for what roadblocks needs, so there will be no version that does not require XScanner.

If you're having issues with fps drops disable background playback on npc vehicles, as the ini clearly states.
