  1. Yep yep. If that doesn't work, you can use 7-Zip instead. I prefer it to WinRar.
  2. Can you please provide more information? Legal copy of the game? Specs? Latest patch? Which mods are you using? Running as administrator?
  3. You mean with the default ZIP program in Windows? You just right click and choose extract. Guide: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compress-uncompress-files-zip-files
  4. LCPDFR isn't stable nor supported in any form of online play, there is not real fix for it sadly.
  5. I'm thinking both. Haven't tried it myself.
  6. I think this error was explained in the release thread for 1.0c as something that can be ignored :)
  7. ineseri commented on iNTERNAL's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  8. MODERATOR NOTICE Please do not thread bump. I have merged your posts.
  9. Obviously a l33t haxx0r. Lol, I have no idea. I can ask him on Steam when he's online :)
  10. Could you link to the topic?
  11. Have you tried redownloading the car? +, your computer specs might play in.
  12. Is it a legal copy of the game? Steam/Retail? Are you running the game as administrator? Using the latest patch? What mods are you using? List them please. Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe. Also, download and extract Scripthook.dll and ScripthookDotNet.asi files to your GTA IV directory. (http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83). Also, that card isn't really a gaming card, is it?
  13. Yes, inside the GTA IV folder. They're called GTAIV.exe and LaunchGTAIV.exe respecively.
  14. The download is a ZIP file as far as I know. Or what do you mean?
  15. 1. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11841-run-administrator.html. You may need to turn on file extensions to see .exe: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hide-file-name-extensions 2. That depends on your firewall, but usally it shouldn't be blocked.
  16. Please turn off UAC: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/ Also, reinstall LCPDFR manually as it comes with all the needed files. Make sure to read all manuals.
  17. Try running all *.exe files as administrator, even the ones from the disc. Make sure you have a valid internet connection and that your firewall isn't blocking the application.
  18. That might be why it's not activating.
  19. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The LCPDFR Support Requests section is for issues with the LCPDFR modification itself. Please make sure to post in the correct section in the future.
  20. You need to answer all of the questions.
  21. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.
  22. You seem to be using the Simple Native Trainer. Make sure that the trainer keys are disabled by going to your GTA IV folder, open trainer.ini, hit CTRL+F, type in KeyBindingsDisabled=0, click on Find Next and replace 0 with 1. This should solve your issue.
  23. Which mods are you using OP? Because keep in mind that LCPDFR isn't supported with third-party mods.
