Lcpdfr just won't work, no matter what i do.
Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

Els v8 work for windows 8.1?
MODERATOR NOTICE No, this isn't the correct section either. I am moving this topic to GTA IV Support Requests, as this isn't regarding help creating a mod. Please make sure to post in the correct section by reading the forum descriptions and following the instructions in my past lock-messages.

Why don't cops carry this?
It's actually a lot harder to break car windows than many think; The ones in GTA are highly unrealistic as they shatter way too easily. There's a reason they don't shatter: You don't want that all over your body if you'd crash. I agree that this would be a nifty thing to have as a complement attachment to a baton or similar.

Any Improvements?
Ah sorry, my mistake then :)
-
Any Improvements?
Ultimate can support more :P @Yard1, that's my point. Enterprise is for companies. Further, But this topic isn't about that, so let's drop it :)

What are your tricks to keep multiplayer off crashes?
Neither LCPDFR 1.0c or LCPDFR 0.95RC2 is supported in multiplayer, LCPDFR 0.95RC2 is not supported at all and is just a legacy version.
-
What are your tricks to keep multiplayer off crashes?
Remove your mods and scripts, and multiplayer should be fairly stable.
-
Any Improvements?
False. Professional and Ultimate are consumer editions, Windows 7 Enterprise is for companies. With that being said, I'd go with Ultimate anyway. I use it on all my machines and it has support for virtually unlimited RAM.

Heat.

Upgrading my Drivers?
Drivers might not be compatible with some games, but you can always roll-back. To add to what Yard said; It's good to have the latest versions, but do make sure that they actually work.

Lights on, but no siren mod.. somewhere?
It's a feature of LCPDFR. If you press "Divide" you will light the sirens, but no siren will sound. Light the lights that is.
