mwc2 reacted to Sgt.Kanyo in Call-Out/Traffic StopI think you have to set a waypoint on the map (like you'd set your gps).
I'd love to have a felony stop mode as well, where you don't have to walk up to the car's window, but order him out at gunpoint. Maybe if you draw your gun, the traffic stop should turn into a felony stop, not sure if that's possible though.

mwc2 reacted to Citizen844 in Call-Out/Traffic StopI had a call out for reckless driving. I caught up to the vehicle and pulled it over. It stopped for me and the two little yellow icons appeared. I approached with my weapon out and tried to order him out, but since the yellow icons were there, it forced me to walk into them to activate the dialogue, but when I did - the driver just gunned me down.
Is there no way to order out a driver on a (pressed shift) traffic stop with yellow icons...without walking right up to the window and having the dialogue open?

But I'm pretty sure that is the only one, since most modelers that have been releasing regularly didn't have access to ELS or how to map for the new version until 2 days ago.

mwc2 reacted to Sam in Gta V PedsVery good that you are converting the peds over, and it looks like you've made some great progress from the picture. I will say, though, that I don't think your priority should be to try to fully convert ALL of the peds to GTA IV as that will be a colossal task when you factor in the different meshes and variations, as well as the countless bugs that will crop up and need to be fixed. It could be a month before you actually get a couple of peds that work without any glitches or rigging problems. My suggestion to you would be to work on some of the stuff yourself and just release the other meshes as they are - this will let other people contribute towards converting them and would be great for the community as a whole.

mwc2 reacted to JewishBanana in UM....HELPWhy try to copyright it? Give it a rest and forget about the copyrighting aspect. Modding should be about having fun, especially in the multiplayer aspect because you're together with friends whom share the same interest as you. Choose a clan or group name, stand by it and be unique, and if just so happens somebody wants to put together a clan with the same name or idea as your's, deal with it.

Alaska State Troopers (Alaska)
Fort Mill Police Department (South Carolina) & York County Sheriff's Department (South Carolina)
Washington DC Metro Police (Virginia)
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (specifically, Burnaby RCMP)
There are skins for all the above, but I haven't seen a full skin pack on the DC metro police, or the Fort Mill PD/York County Sheriffs Department (if you want pictures of them I've taken some)

mwc2 reacted to Wilbon in Taser not working in my game?Clearly false, there is no "proper" way to push the button and just because yours works doesn't mean it'll work for everyone else. Don't be arrogant in a support forum.

mwc2 reacted to LukeD in Routine Traffic Stop Goes WrongHi guys, I made this video for fun after playing LCPDFR.
For a full "news style" description of the events check below. The text is the same as that in the video description.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-1lJIJUBwE
A simple routine traffic stop goes horribly wrong, twice!
CCTV imagery from the Liberty City Highway Agency shows how a routine traffic stop ends in a bad driver being arrested, and the fatal ending of a police officer's life.
A man during the traffic stop is seen at the beginning, colliding with the back of the officer's police car. He is promptly arrested and detained in the back of the car, while the officer moves on to deal with the original suspect who had been seen driving erratically.
The suspect opens fire on the police officer as he approaches the suspect's car window, resulting in the officer falling down. to make matters worse though, the office is hit by a taxi which loses control in the wet weather.
The officer was killed by a final few bullets, before being left for dead on the ground.
Liberty City Police Department have not yet caught the suspect, and the detained driver has been taken in for questioning.
If you liked the video let me know, and I will try and do more if you really want me to. It took a hell of a lot of editing because it kept going wrong, and yes I am aware of the small jumps between each of the video segments, this is because they were made in the rockstar video editor before being put together.
Thanks :)

mwc2 reacted to Y0TELEX in What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?Id love to see more realistic situations. Perhaps getting a call about vandalism and actually having to do some investigative work. It would be awesome to be able to call for back-up on traffic stops as well. For instance if I have a vehicle with a tag hit of being stolen I would like to be able to treat that traffic stop as a felony stop. Some back-up and being able to order the person out of the vehicle without it conflicting with the lcpdfr traffic stop functions. I think implementing search warrants on certain houses or businesses would be a great addition as well. Maybe add a feature to include some type of report writing. Lcpdfr is a great mod as it is but a few tweaks and or additions would make it the best mod out there hands down.
