  1. No, it wasn't arrogant, I was telling you why we're not going to do it. If replacing a critical part of GTA IV's engine was that easy, and we could really have it going at the same speed (which we can't, btw, it's impossible) then we would have done it a long time ago.

  3. If you use a genuine version of GTA IV (the genuine version has registry strings the setup can use to automate everything), and not illegally downloaded, you can avoid all these problems. The G17 Media diagnostics tool will soon be updated to make it if you don't have a genuine game, it will show us and we won't help you. Locking.
  4. Why wouldn't it?
  5. Set the target problem to the GTA folder, not the LCPD First Response folder.
  6. Fixed a problem causing lag. There should be very little (if not no lag) showing crime statistics.
  7. This is now fixed. There's also a way to hide your crime statistics under 'Profile/Edit Profile'.
  8. Nevermind, found the problem: Warning: Division by zero in /home/sites/xgweb.co.uk/public_html/cops/usagestats/endpoint.php on line 126 Hurr-durr, lol. Will reply to this topic when fixed.
  9. What browser are you using? How am I suppose to know what browser your using, or what user you were viewing? Please include this in an issue report, I'm not magic, y'know.
  10. The diagnostics tool always says you don't have an ASI loader if you have both xlive and dsound for the fact having both is just... no. Delete xlive.dll then reinstall LCPD First Response. If that doesn't work, reinstall LCPD First Response and delete dsound.dll and put xlive.dll back.
  11. Can you try reinstalling LCPDFR, then try running GTA IV and tell me the result and post the diagnostics log afterward? Thanks.

We don't support IE because of Microsoft's arrogance to web standards. With Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and Konqueror I need one line of code to do something. In IE6/7/8 I need ~30 lines. However, the situation is improved in IE9, with Microsoft supporting most standards. IE9 is supported -- although not recommended. It's not about security, speed or even plugin compatibility, it's simply about web standards.

I think we need to change the algorithm that's used to select a fallout to make it more unique. Some of these ideas are just not possible, or just cba. The rest I'll take a look into.

    Really cool.
  15. Its still good for multiplayer RP though.
  16. Will fix this for next release.
  17. You need to YouTube this.
  18. Looks cool. The PS3 has a lot of potential, and as soon as the developers start to discover it more and more, the nicer the games we'll see out of it. It's a shame it has a hardcore processor that's kinda ruined with 512MB RAM -- to be shared with the GPU.
