Hopefully this tutorial should help you out: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888023 There's more tutorials hanging around, and there's quite a few video tutorials on YouTube too. I've never had to remove an operating system completely from my computer, but I have formatted and reinstalled Windows 7 once.

^ He seemed to play LCPDFR fine to me. Nice video! Although I can't say the same for that Charger, looks like it was missing a few textures or something.

Very odd. I've never seen this problem pop up on the forums before, so this is new to me too. When you go to the police stations themselves (the actual buildings), is the red marker there? This could simply be a glitch with the map. Hopefully someone else will knows whats happening here since I'm not entirely sure myself.

LCPDFR has several forum sub-sections dedicated to support threads. I don't really see the point in creating a group when you can simply reply to those threads.

Ignore what I just said about the single dash light. I was wrong. Here's another picture that should help you out. Finding the Charger is quite difficult.

No I don't believe they are split. They are both sides, however the one on the dash is a single light.

Another good tip is to find a good side-on picture of the car and import it directly over the the template, it generally makes things a whole lot easier. Here's what I mean: Also note how I have the layers set up, the real picture is above the template. Just remember that when you actually want to paint the car, create a new layer!

I never used to like the DSF models either, but they are a lot more realistic than Schaeffts model. With time, I've grown to love them. -

Yeah, that sounds like a hell of a project alright. Including the Sheriff Departments and Tribal Police, that's 40+ departments. Good luck!

Is there any sort of theme to this or is just "Submit a random skin and let the best one win!"? Just curious.

Having had this experience myself, I resorted to making textures based on real departments. It's completely understandable that departments don't want to see their officers being portrayed in such a manner of the the Grand Theft Auto games.
