  1. Follow this tutorial if you're getting the LCPDFRModels error. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  2. Please run the G17 Media diagnostic tool and post the debugging information here. You can download it here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  3. Are you familiar with how to use zmodeler?
  4. Do you mean ELS 7, or files on LCPDFR in general? Send me a PM if you need any help.
  5. Please read the very first pinned thread in this forum. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  6. I do love those NYPD taxis... '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  7. It's backspace to close the trainer menu, by the way.
  8. I usually play offline unless I'm playing just to do multiplayer. I think it's more habit from before I made a social club account than anything else though.
  9. I think we should all sort out to use the same cars today, the SMPA errors yesterday were a bit too much.
  10. Now? Thought it was tomorrow.. Either way, the skydrive link isn't working for me for some reason. :( Getting the "something went wrong!" message. Does that contain anything other than the scripts you listed in your first post? (cars etc)
  11. I wonder if they will implement the same cheat detection on the PC version (if it's released)? Could make LCPDFR multiplayer with trainers a bit more difficult.
  12. No ideas then, sorry.
  13. Alright, did you try the update anyway?
  14. Sorry, should have made that clearer. 1. Create a folder anywhere called "registry backup" or whatever you want 2. Hold the Windows key and press R to open Run. 3. Enter "regedit" without the quotation marks 4. Highlight "computer" at the top of the directory by clicking it once 5. Click "File" at the top left of the window and then click "export" 6. Navigate to the folder you made earlier 7. Enter a file name for the backup. Anything you want. 8. Click save After you click save, a single file with the extension "registration entities" (.reg) will be placed into the folder. This contains your entire registry and can easily be restored if you break something.
  15. You could have just cropped it Anyway, you're probably going to need to open that particular key in your registry and change the permissions. I strongly recommend making a backup of your registry before attempting this. 1. Hold the Windows key and press R to open Run. 2. Enter "regedit" without the quotation marks 3. Search (CTRL+F) for "B380454580315844FB71110100D03810" (No quotations) 4. Right click on "B380454580315844FB71110100D03810" on the left of the screen and click "Permissions" ('>) 5. Clicking through each user in the top box, ensure that all of the "Allow" tick boxes are ticked. ('>) 6. Click "advanced" 7. Ensure that "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" is ticked. ('>) 8. Press "Apply" and then "Yes" 9. Select the "Owner" tab 10. Select "Administrators" from the list of groups, noting that the "Current Owner" changes to Administrators. 11. Tick "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects" 12. Press "Apply" and "Ok" 13. Close all dialogue boxes pressing apply where appropriate. Close RegEdit and retry the installation, ensuring that you run the installer as administrator.
  16. So you ran UpdateTitle.exe and successfully updated the game, but you are still getting the same message?
  17. For custom skins, you will need a model and a template for the model. You can use basically any image manipulation program, however Paint is not recommended. Try GIMP or if you have it Photoshop. This is a useful tutorial if you're new to texturing. I'd recommend not releasing your first couple of textures as it's possible that they won't be of a high quality and might damage your reputation as a texture artist in the future. http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/texturing-tips-and-tutorials/texturing-tips-and-tricks-r8
  18. The reason I haven't tried to answer this one is because it looks like you've tried everything and I honestly haven't got a clue why you're losing textures...
  19. I guess the line that you changed is: Toggle_SRN = 72 // H by default You say you wanted to change the key to . Did you change it to: Toggle_SRN = // H by default or Toggle_SRN = 220 // H by default You should have changed it to 220.
  20. As long as it says [ POLICE2 ] Status = on File = default_config and you have the default_config.ini in Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVELS then there is no reason why it shouldn't work. Do you use Simple Native Trainer? If so you will need to disable your keys on it else the ELS buttons will not work. Here's how to do that: 1. Open trainer.ini in your GTA directory 2. Search the document (CTRL+F) for KeyBindingsDisabled 3. Change the value after KeyBindingsDisabled from 0 to 1 4. Save and exit
  21. Can you confirm that you are pressing ALT+P, not just P? The key combination to start LCPDFR is ALT+P, and you'll know if it is started as you will see a dialogue box in the top left saying "Welcome to LCPDFR."
  22. Is this when you're starting GTAIV? Have you installed the LCPDFR mod? Did GTAIV run before you installed it? (EDIT: If this is nothing to do with LCPDFR then you should post here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum/55-support/ ) Edit Edit: I noticed you have another thread for the exact same issue..
  23. LCPDFR is not designed to work with cracked versions of the game. Nonetheless, here's a video (found in the sticky at the top of this subforum) which shows how to fix this issue on legitimate copies of GTAIV. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
