  1. Ah thanks. It works quite well and gives the impression of a police car siren down the street. I just tested your sirens ingame and they are very nice, but they are a bit quiet. You should raise the volume of the sounds, also the phaser is a bit choppy. And is there a way to get rid of that flange-like effect on the original yelp files? (Like the fed sig website ones.)
  2. Sounds like the same siren sounds on the Federal Signal website but modified with some echo effects. Nice editing, I'm downloading this. I like the alley effect on the wail sound. Could you tell me what specific effect was used there?
  3. As far as I know the MET don't use single reflective vests, only BTP, that is why it isn't included in my pack (thanks Yard1 for referring to it). Where you mean Met police hat, if you are talking about the much more common CAP (not the custody helmet), it is included in the pack in many size variants (a traffic one is provided, also).
  4. The choice to disable spawned police units - during chases etc. the game already spawns them and its really annoying if we are playing MP and some idiot AI cops kill more people with their cars then do good (especially when the "No Cops" mode is on, for practicality reasons). More config choices please, with the availability to disable some features known to be annoying (like the one above) and other game-breakers. Please add the option to disable the silly music every time we complete a call. I cannot stress how annoying it is when you are playing and your headphones are at their loudest, to hear gun shots and vehicles generally more intense, then to have some extremely loud silly tune break the gameplay. Also, some smooth integration of mods like Bravehearts Policing Script with LCPDFR format and ending outcomes. More variety of callouts, and no I dont mean the current ones, but new types of callouts like break ins and burglary, fights, disturbance of the peace, bait cars etc. Alot of other script makers here have hinted for these features like Abrax and Braveheart in their supplement mods.
  5. Will this disable LCPDFR spawning cop units as well?
  6. Is there anyway to disable AI cops around the city? I mean routine patrols, officers on the street and in vehicles etc. similar to disabling peds and traffic. This feature would be very useful for multiplayer gaming sessions.
  7. Is anyone else annoyed by this? I guess the original developers put this feature in for vanilla gameplay, but I am really annoyed when I respond to calls with ELS sirens on a the cars beep like I am some bloody terrorist (naturally we drive faster than usual and break some driving laws when responding and for this I would rather the cars not beep at all then give itchy beeps every 5 seconds). Is someone considering creating a mod to stop cars beeping at other drivers altogether? Or could someone give a hint where to start? (Would it be somewhere in the ped personalities files?)
  8. Could we have an option in the config to remove the automatic voices in the next release? I would rather my character say nothing at all then switch races with different voices. It is a very good modification, but that part gets on my nerves so much that I am considering removing it.
  9. What about custom sirens? So you could have a different siren on each vehicle (like a lot of police forces)
  10. Thats a very nice setup, looks like the real times square. What ENB setup are you using?
  11. You need SparkIV, to open up the .img files, then import the .wtd and .wdd files into it. Instructions are included in the readme on most mods. Be sure to back up your original files first before modding. EDIT: I thought you meant modding (as the title suggests), not modeling.
  12. This is interesting. For me, the only calls I can remember are suicide and mugging - if I want drug deal or car chase, I have to use ALT-F11 and toggle them on manually. Is that normal? Also if you want the policing script calls to work you have to press ALT-DELETE (to activate a callout) and to stop it press SHIFT-DELETE.
  13. Can you give a link to it?
  14. For #3 are you using Braveheart's Policing Script?
  15. Please change it to local unit ones or at least provide an option for us to define in the .ini if we want voice changing or not (or add the option to not include automatic voices at all). I cannot play as a black cop and then point a gun at someone and a white voice with a texan accent appears. Besides, the state trooper sounds like an utter twat. Great modification - I am beginning to prefer these callouts over the stock LCPDFR ones now, I just press F7 to disable the linear mugging and disturbance calls from now on (eventually this mod should be incorporated into lcpdfr when they allow suggestions and start releasing a new version). By the way, what do we do with RTAs when there is a red arrow over the cars? Do you call a tow truck? (This doesnt work for me for some reason, even though I have the tow truck addon working and installed - it comes with a debug error in the console saying "vehicle doesn't exist" and "driver doesn't exist"). Also what are we supposed to do to the complainer/victim of a disturbance/fight/robbery? When I arrest the suspect the situation doesn't clear. Your great mod is in need of a manual of some sort, please include it in one of your next releases - we are left in the dark here.
  16. @TheDanishGuy thats not the met siren thats the siren that ambulances use. If you want other tones for that siren go on this channel: http://youtube.com/policeblue999 the guy has the proper two tone and yelp tones for your siren if you search his uploaded videos. My siren is a different make used on new met vehicles so using my sounds would be incorrect for your siren.
