The detail of this car is incredible. Is it a high poly model? Or were normal maps used? I especially like the materials like the chrome grill and paint. The texture is also very nice, is it your work? -

I have been trying this, and it works quite well, but I have the following important questions: I want to mix ped meshes with different models, yet some meshes are not properly aligned up with the model. This makes the modding ability very limiting. Is there an XYZ offset I could use to fix their position (perhaps inside the .odd file)? Also, what are these values between the mesh brackets: center 0.00287100 -0.00184600 0.06598799 AABBMin -0.51817800 -0.18138400 -0.02370800 AABBMax 0.52306400 0.21475300 0.58470200 radius 0.52410100 How would one modify the mesh in 3DS Max? I have some modeling skills, and I would like to add or remove some features from the ped meshes. Now I dont want the whole model to be imported, but only managble individual meshes, with their working UV maps and selection names, so that all I have to do is edit the already-game ready mesh. Could someone knowledgable on the subject give a good explanation?

Could you make a version with separate sirens for separate vehicles, so say a Fed Sig SS2000 for a Police Patrol, and then a Police Cruiser could be fitted with a Whelen Alpha? I think that is a gap in the market. Especially for UK vehicles where the sirens on the fleet change every now and then (where newer vehicles have different sounds to older ones). And ambulance sirens could be different then. We would really appreciate that.

The name changing helps correct the handling of the vehicle, and the TSG van is in the Stockade slot to free up more slots for the police vehicles. The dirt bug on the BMW 3 - I PM'ed BritishPoliceMods for a fix and he said he would try to fix it by tuesday still havent heard from him, and the release date was for today. I think he is still busy.

Better tactics would be to withdraw some of the on scene officers to general duties and call in an armed unit to replace them. I understand that they got the job done, but it could have turned out dreadful if one of the officers was hit, I mean, the guy had a large machete. At the end of the video you can see an officer nearly goes sick after seeing the size of that weapon - the magnitude of its blade would be enough to chop off a limb if enough force was applied. To be honest, in my opinion, these officers were dicing with fire. I have seen armed officers called out for non firearms incidents, where their firepower is needed. One would be that incident on the news which was caught on camera earlier on this year in Newham, where a cop got attacked by a pit bull dog. There are also many incidents of that sort uncovered by the news, which go on alot.

Yeah lol, its cause there is only one texture slot for the windows and the primary role for the Volvo V70 in the pack is a Met Traffic OCU. Numberplate was left there as part of the model therefore I did not see sense in changing it. Only the vehicles with no numberplates have recieved the appropriate and realistic ones (Focus, Astra, Volvo etc.) The traditional Met livery is already inside the pack... all the appropriate vehicles are outfitted in it. Also City of London police is a good idea... but that would be quite limiting due to them only patrolling one borough (Alqonquin). Thanks for all the good feedback everyone, on the video and here. All open to suggestions for a next version (if possible).

Right, I just disabled the "resist" in the config and alot of buggy features were removed. For a start, the annoying "GET DAIN GET DAIN" voice no longer occurs when aiming at a ped or hitting them with a baton. Also, you can cleanly arrest someone now. I think this can be a temporary fix to the voices bug, but that is if you can put up without the suspect resisting (I can).
