  1. Hey guys, I decided to work on a large British Police pack that isn't based on any force as specific, but would be a brilliant base for anyone who wishes to install British mods without having the immersion stolen by the vanilla NYC-style vehicles. The idea is to make it based of the most popular car choices of many British police forces, so the user can download individual mods from other police forces such as GMP, WMP, Met Police etc. without worrying about needing a whole pack to make the rest of them fit in. It will include: Replacements for all police slots Emergency services (ambulance, fire) Public transport (might be possible) Ped reskins for all important police peds vDH Police Helper and LCPDFR police computer skins (for 1.0 and .95 RC2) And perhaps a bit more, not 100% finished at the moment but the models are almost done as you can see in this WIP vid:
  2. Pretty oldskool for London standards. (Every 3-4 years, a car is retired.) Used during periods 1999-2002, until it was replaced by the BMW 5 E39 and later Vauxhall Vectras. It's a pursuit and advanced response car so these units would see alot of action, with their sirens and lights blazing through all the time. Seen on The Bill.
  3. * Update * PATROL #28 on LCPDFR 1.0c Using a stealthy BMW 5 unmarked estate in a high-speed traffic patrol GOING BACK TO THE CLASSIC 1.0 SERIES, HOPEFULLY I WILL BE USING 1.0 FOR A LONG TIME FROM NOW ON! Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  4. Import them to Zmodeler then convert. 3ds is a fine format, but obj produces less errors.
  5. Hey, I found this interesting footage that was released on the Metropolitan Police Service's YouTube today. It shows armed police officers from SCO19 intercepting a (possibly) armed suspect in which they then manage to get him on the ground. It's part of a training exercise but I do believe it is very similar to what happens in reality (apart from members of the public intruding/making it difficult for the officers to arrest). It's not unlike the "Helmet Cam" footage we are so familiar of from troops serving abroad in Afghanistan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6r8VFkZ3hGs The Met are now trialing body cameras due to public pressure since recent tensions regarding the shootings of an unarmed person in Tottenham. Will be interesting to see what footage actually comes of this.
  6. Quite a unique idea, good show :)
  7. Having a BRILLIANT patrol, really funny commentary, feeling like this is the next best patrol I've recorded, only to press the "record stop" button, get out of game, and realize... MY MICROPHONE WAS MUTED!!
  8. But. But. But where is Chuck Norris?
  9. * Update * PATROL #27 on LCPDFR 1.0c Using the BMW X5 ARMED POLICE and trying out the new >Wasteland mod... GOING BACK TO THE CLASSIC 1.0 SERIES, HOPEFULLY I WILL BE USING 1.0 FOR A LONG TIME FROM NOW ON! Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  10. Did a patrol with it yesterday, tried the mod out. At one point I was confused what the "D0" key meant, later on in the video I realized it was the numeric "0" key next to the "+" and "-" keys near backspace. I think it would be helpful if this information was included in the readme, as well as the console command as some people want to read what does what before they put the mod in their game. LCPDFR 1.0c with The Wasteland Mod: It's a bit buggy here and there but it has potential. Some of the callouts are infrequent, though, despite I lowered the callout wait period to under 2 minutes. I might give it another go, though, as it's worth it with the amount of work put into this fantastic plugin!
  11. * Update * PATROL #26 on LCPDFR 1.0c Taking a BRAND NEW turbocharged BMW for a roll on traffic duty, chasing some drivers and handing out some tickets... GOING BACK TO THE CLASSIC 1.0 SERIES, HOPEFULLY I WILL BE USING 1.0 FOR A LONG TIME FROM NOW ON! Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  12. I could send it to you in private, if I find it.
  13. He closed his channel down due to haters. I'll try and have a look somewhere as I do believe it was in one of our older clan packs. I think I did an updated skin for it as well. Quite a decent model IMHO.
  14. Sounds like a brilliant idea. I've always been interested with inner-city high crime policing. Especially in the less fortunate districts of many megalopolises. Thanks, I will be downloading this.
  15. 3 cars in my game, to maximize stability with 1.0c: Vauxhall Astra Mk6 IRV BMW 5 F11 Traffic Policing Ford Transit Mk6 Prisoner Transport Then of course there's the unique London-Taxi mod and also the red busses mod.
  16. Try just typing "LCPDFR 1.0" - most videos that show up will simply be the ones with the word "video" in the description. If you type "LCPDFR 1.0" you will not be restricting your search as much, and a larger variety of videos with more views will come up.
  17. * Update * PATROL #25 on LCPDFR 1.0c A bit crazy, but this time I decided to ditch the patrol car and take a healthier alternative... GOING BACK TO THE CLASSIC 1.0 SERIES, HOPEFULLY I WILL BE USING 1.0 FOR A LONG TIME FROM NOW ON! Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  18. * Update * PATROL #24 on LCPDFR 1.0c - the series is BACK! After a very long period of giving up on 1.0, I've decided to go back to it! With a few small fixes I was able to reduce the crashes to after/before the callouts, and NOT during them. I hope it will stay like this... GOING BACK TO THE CLASSIC 1.0 SERIES, HOPEFULLY I WILL BE USING 1.0 FOR A LONG TIME FROM NOW ON! Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  19. Whoops, I was mistaken. Thought this was an NYPD feed mod (perhaps another idea?). Still, great job. Sad I'd never be able to use this on YT due to their music copyright scheme :(
  20. Great work, downloading this. Wish this was legal in the UK. Met Police radio streams are encrypted through digital bandwidth (tetra) so it's not possible. :(
