  5. BRAINERD - Do I see to words merged together here?
  6. Ha. They stopped them in the end though, which shows even there, the police have the upper hand. Interesting find.
  7. Nice and clean. No yucky stuff or any hideous decals like so many skins I've been seeing lately. Good job. Makes a decent change.
  8. I prefer Canadian skins to American ones for some reason. They just look more tidier, and professional. The black and white is my favorite. Not too keen on the white one with the missing stripe on the driver's door (even if it looks like that IRL)
  9. Glad I stumbled upon this. Great work mate!
  10. http://gyazo.com/02f022d124dbb269bf29fda7240aae81 Well that video description certainly looks original. http://gyazo.com/6fe200350d71860538ecea8242f078da
  11. * Update * PATROL #30 on LCPDFR 1.0c This time I'm using a WIP riot van in a proactive TSG patrol around Bohan Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  12. You asked at the right time It's only recently that I've done one. Works with the firefighter script too. You can use it with ELS 7, the only things that won't work are the wig-wags, but everything else is more or less the same. All you need to do is fill in an ELS 7 config for it.
  13. As the title suggests, is there any proper way to spawn multiple partners in LCPDFR 1.0 without using a trainer? (As whenever I use a trainer they seem to wander off or stay in the car/van when I decamp.)
  14. I did another video, this time as the London Fire Brigade: I tried out the engine aspects of the script (as, unfortunately, there are no ladder or pump British firetruck models out there at the moment) but it was quite enjoyable! Recorded it yesterday so it wasn't the hotfix version, just the original. So excuse me when I say "better change the keys" or something at the end.
  15. Here's an update - it's a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter used for public order and will be replacing nstockade in the game: ELS 8 enabled and will be included in the pack.
  16. Who else read "The Hipster Project" first and then thought "uhhh? new ped mods??". Jokes aside, sounds like a good idea. The only thing I'm concerned about is if the game will be able to cope with more models than it already has, especially when users have the line "Preloadallmodels" set to true. If I ever want an additional slot in my game, I usually just add it to the vehicles img using OpenIV, then redefine it in carcols dat, vehicles ide, handling and the vehoff files and it works fine. Oh, and make sure it is defined in the ELS _SLOTCONTROL ini as well.
  17. Thank you, I'll keep that in mind and I will make some more videos. The reason I didn't record the part when I went to hospital was because the Ambulance model wasn't compatible with the stretcher - no matter how many times I tried to feed it into the rear of the vehicle, the patient just spawned at the rear of the vehicle in mid-air when the ramp closed and not inside it. I will be doing a firefighter role soon, hopefully I'll be able to get some footage of using the fire extinguisher.
  18. Well said. The script authors deserve more respect for what they do, and even though it can be frustrating as so many people are excited to play it, they should remember that they didn't pay for the mod so they don't get a warranty or guarantee that it will be 100% working on full release. Nothing is 100% perfect when it first comes out. Not even commercial software. That's why it's our job to find the faults and report them to the author, so they can be remedied. I did a first-look at the ambulance aspects of the script, they're pretty decent and the gameplay was quite enjoyable. Here's the video: Playing as the London Ambulance Service.
  19. Thanks I'm thinking of slanting more towards the tactical black uniforms like the ones in my Essex pack as they seem to be much more widespread use than the white shirts now. (Even though I personally prefer the white shirts as they look much more professional.) It wouldn't stray too far from Met Police as a few of their units wear black/navy uniforms as well, just not the close fitting ones that the counties do.
  20. Heh heh... well all my hours of paperwork are decently substituted by the amount of crashing and re-editing I have to do! Overtime - got that one worked as well... ---------------------------------- * Update * PATROL #29 on LCPDFR 1.0c Using a Ford Tourneo community-policing van in a Broker-Dukes wide patrol Once again, thanks to the whole G17 Media team and Abraxas for creating such fantastic mods!
  21. You don't need to follow the blueprints religiously when modelling something based off them. I usually use them as a reference for the ratio of components, so that the overall proportion of the model is decent when I check against them. I have many photos of the real object/vehicle open at many viewpoints (usually google tabs or saved images) when I model, and I find them quite helpful when also following a blueprint.
