IMO, I wouldn't recommend going with any of the 700 series with your budget. Yes, the 760-780 are GREAT cards, but they are starting to become out of date... For the price, the 970 is better than the 760, and almost puts out the same specs as the 780. If you have the money, go for the 980, it's better than any card in the 700 series and newer, meaning it'll last you quite a bit longer in terms of out dating. Intel Processors are better than AMD, no one can disagree with that. BUT if you have a strict budget maybe AMD is for you. Processor and GPU are IMO the two most important parts of any PC build, so I wouldn't take them lightly, even if you have to save a little more or spend a little more for a better one. Running SLI 970's wouldn't be as worth as getting a single 980. That's my opinion.
