Police Car
It works for me. Download and extract the CVPI, open SparkIV, go to pc/models/cdimages/vehicles.img, click Import, then find your extracted CVPI and select the 2 wft and wtd files in the Vehicle Files folder. Save and Rebuild with SparkIV, and launch the game. If you want to replace another car than the police1 (vapid cruiser), then change the name of the CVPI files.

No, but as I said, try to don't use too much car mods. Don't forget to make backups before modding.

Is anyone able to do this?
As you want Michael, I already have needed components for it, it would be quick & easy. But you can provide your version too ^^ EDIT : Well, I made 4 versions, in 1920x1080 : download It's not exactly the same as the one you showed, I used different filters, but if you want something dirtier like the one you showed, tell me. If you want different resolution, different style, other improvements, brightness/saturation/tint/etc... just ask. For now I'm going to bed, it's 5am here ^^

I told you to launch the game as admin too, did you do it ? Because this error appears when the game is not launched as admin.

For what resolution ? Did you checked on DeviantArt or Wallbase ? Edit : can't find one on DeviantArt, I didn't searched in Wallbase. Anyway, I can make it, but I need your resolution.

"Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working" after the loading screen
Yeah; just a texture loss problem. Your graphic card, and your whole specs I have to say, is too weak to handle well high-poly modded cars (like cvpi and other real life cars) + some graphics settings. Try to remove your modded cars and see if the problem persists. If yes, paste here a screenshot of your graphics settings, we'll see if you can lower them. If you want nice low-poly cars, els or not, you can check the database link in my signature. EDIT : you can try the tips featured

LCPDFR not quite working
lol, sorry, didn't see it x) I don't see anything wrong in the diag. Have you got specific error messages or crashes ? Make sure both following requirements are installed in up-to-date version (you can grab those links to be sure) : .NET Framework 4 Visual C++ 2010 Try to remove every scripts, maybe one of them is conflicting. Do you have unchecked the read only on game folder and do you launch game as admin ? Did you installed LCPDFR as admin ? In the game folder, do you have only dsound.dll or have you got xlive.dll too ? In last case, delete xlive.dll, just keep dsound.dll.

"Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working" after the loading screen
X) why it was set on only 1.5Gb ? Do you remember doing that or was it always like that ?
-
"Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working" after the loading screen
It's not normal to have 1Gb missing. Even if it's 32bits. Plus, 64bits is pretty useless if you have less than 4Gb. It's a desktop PC ? Turn it off and pen it (touch a metallic exterior part before, for static electricity), and try to see if the RAM sticks are correctly put, and if they are ok. You should hear a "click" when you put it correctly in the slot. Edit : "open it", not "pen it", missing "o" ^^

SouthLAnd has been cancelled.
Ben McKenzie confirmed on Twitter. Too bad, one of the last good TV shows. Too much crap on TV. RIP SouthLAnd. --- If you haven't seen season six, don't read !

"Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working" after the loading screen
Hmmmm, don't know what that means for the software, sorry. Mine says supported. Maybe because you don't have a lot of RAM or it doesn't recognize something, I don't know ^^ But there is a blue "OK" tick so I assume that it's ok though... Edit : I've just seen your edit. Well, the weird thing is that you say you have 2.5Gb and diagnostic tool says 1.5Gb. Can you go in control panel, system, and look how many RAM is detected ? Edit2 : did you try to play after removing xlive ?
-
"Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working" after the loading screen
Remove one of them (you should remove xlive). edit : and of course check again if it's ok with diagnostic tool.
-
"Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working" after the loading screen
Asi loader : dsound or xlive. dsound is recommanded. Have you xlive.dll or dsound.dll in the game folder ? The screenshots says "2 errors", what is the second error ?
