  1. I use a workaround, a bit weird I know but it works : 1 - SimulateKeyPress script + custom ini (see spoiler) 2 - ELS7 custom ini (see spoiler) --- Explanation : I changed the ComboKey and the ToggleExpressMode to F5 and F6 (change by what you want except CTRL ALT SHIFT) in ELS.ini, so when I hit Dpad UP (mapped for F6+F5) on controller, it activate Express Mode, and so the siren works if I hit Left Stick. It would be better if we could set ExpressMode on "automatically launched at startup" in ELS.ini, but we can't, or I'm blind. Note that if I hit Dpad UP again while siren is on, it disable Express Mode but lights still enabled, it's kind of muted siren. Don't know if it's clear ^^ The other mapped keys are for indicator script, some lcpdfr functions, and cruise lights which I set on F8.
  2. I use paid version of Bandicam, so I have unlimited time. It has excellent quality and is well optimized when it's well configured. I used Fraps many years ago but I prefer Bandicam now.
  3. will help you to see the most active/dangerous areas. Also, as we said, hit ALT+F11 to generate new callouts.
  4. Should be ok : http://i80.servimg.com/u/f80/13/40/66/54/mnw8q410.png
  5. Major Update : GPM models added.
  6. This time, you were slower
  7. I never crash, even when I play ~5 hours. Sometimes some scripts have errors and I have to reload them, but that's all. For my mods and specs see my profile. It's just my opinion, but I think that 50% of the crashes are because of too high settings, too much high-poly cars, beta scripts, and sometimes PEBKAC :p
  8. It's not because of that, try to patrol on more zones or hit ALT+F11, you'll have more callouts. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that hardcore mode just make things... harder ^^ more damage or something like that, I never tried, but be sure that it's not why you don't have the other callouts.
  9. Read what I said, there are errors, they're not the same instructions ;) The modder made mistakes, not you. edit : mostly about scripthook placement.
  10. There are errors in installation description (not your fault carry), so here is the correct way : 1. Unpack the LimoService.rar 2. Copy the file LimoService.net.dll to C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVscripts 3. Get the 1.7.1.7 ScriptHookDotNet here and put the scripthookdotnet.asi and scripthook.dll files in GTA root folder. 4. Create a folder called "GTA IV" and another folder Called "ModSettings". 5. Copy the LimoService folder to the recently created "ModSettings" folder. 6. Then put the "ModSettings" folder inside the recently created "GTA IV" folder. 7. Move the "GTA IV" folder to My Documents folder or User Document folder. 8. Go ingame and activate the script by pressing Alt+L Don't forget to backup the original scripthookdotnet.asi and scripthook.dll, just in case. EDIT : the mod works well and doesn't conflict with LCPDFR, if it didn't work it's because of the uncorrect installation guide.
  11. I think that only zmodeler can do it. <-- edit : I mean, converting into a GTA IV format. But as I said in my "free tools" topic, maybe OpenIV and his openformats is compatible with a format from Blender.
  12. - You can mod the cars you want until your PC explode, the taxi bug can be fixed with Traffic Flow, Traffic Load, or Chikmaru Real Traffic for example (scripts). - ELFC needs to be updated to patch 1.1.2.0 / GTA IV needs to be updated to patch 1.0.7.0. - LCPDFR is automatically installed / ELS and SNT content must be put in the root folder of the game, where the exe is. - Don't care about the scripthook files until one of your scripts doesn't work, LCPDFR already install scripthook. - All ELS cars should work with ELS7, some cars are optimized for it though. - BONUS : don't forget to install LCPDFR as admin, uncheck read-only on game folders, and launch the game as admin too. - SUPER BONUS : don't forget to read the support section of the website and the many other helpful threads of the forums. - ULTRA MEGA BONUS : enjoy your game, officer :)
  13. Thanks, I thought it was something more complicated -_- Moderators, feel free to delete this useless topic ^^
  14. Hey guys, I searched on the net, but as I don't really know what I have to search for, it's a bit difficult... I just want to know what's the exact term for those stripes at the rear of some vehicles (see image). I'm making a skin and I wanted to find some example pictures. Thanks :)
  15. Tutorials section ^^
  16. Uncheck read-only on game folder and launch installer as admin. Read the support section and search forums before asking.
  17. Hmmm, I'm not sure if it'll work for GTA IV, but you can try to mount an iso of DVD1 without crack.
  18. DVD 2 won't launch the game if I remember well, it will say "Insert DVD 1". About a no-dvd crack, I guess it won't work with LCPDFR. Do you have this problem with other games ? Is your GTA DVD a bit dirty or damaged ?
  19. Are you using a Steam version ? I don't have more ideas for the moment. If you want me to check your installation with Teamviewer, send me a PM.
  20. Read and do what I wrote above in post #8 ^^
  21. Oops, thanks guys, I fixed it. I thought I read that in the forums (I must admit that I use more spark than open).
  22. It happens sometimes, rarely for me, but try to hit ALT+F11, it forces callout. EDIT : you can post the log files from the game folder in a spoiler tag here, we'll see if something "crash".
  23. Yes if you can upgrade to 64bits you can have more than 3GB, it would help a bit. RAM doesn't cost that much so it can be a good little start.
  24. You are in 32bits so you can only have 3GB. I don't think that buying 500MB RAM now is a good idea, it's cheap yes but a bit useless, I mean, look at your computer, bad graphic card, bad cpu, bad ram, and bad OS. <-- edit : I mean for GTA IV + mods Plus, I guess that your system is a bit f*cked up with years and I don't think that you've really taken care a lot of it. Look, we are at the 3rd page, everyday a new problem is coming lol. I can help but I can't do miracles buddy :) As we said, reduce a lot your mods, don't use ELS/modded cars/etc..., just the strict minimum. And when you'll have a better computer, you'll be able to mod your game intensively.
