Yeah I was afraid of that. Just tried. Didn't work. All vehicles vanilla and the error still persists. Couldn't have been. I make my cars flawless and nearly perfect. There is no way that was happening because of them.

I hope after knowing, how long I been in this game and still not being able to solve this issue despite all approaches known to me AND scanning through for similar topics through the support section, you can understand that it pissed me off to a level that I posted that sentence, not realizing that it could've been misinterpreted really easy. Apologies from me too. I just did what you recommended. I did a clean install of GTA IV but it is still happening (PS: I couldn't resist installing my police cars though and I swear they had worked with 1.0a fine before). Besides, I if it were the vehicles, I could've known because I always test drive a vehicle for long enough when I install it fresh in game for the first time to make sure it doesn't cause any issues. And like I said, I have already tried shuffling/replacing transporter models in the .img AND .ini. but the problem is still reproducible. Brace yourselves guys. Since this one's sneaked past an experienced modder, its gonna be a tough one. Lets see who's up for some guessing game.- 1.0c Suspect Transport crash
I'm not sure what made you believe that my last sentence was pointed towards the mod and not the problem itself. I have been playing LCPDFR since 0.91 came out and have solved all my modding-related issues pretty much on my own since then. I play on a heavily modded GTA:IV copy with LCPDFR installed and all version have worked fine for me until now. Some time ago I had an issue with my windows 7 and I had to reinstall it. That is when 1.0c came out. So, I am basically an advanced and experienced user and have been playing with mods since a long time but this one has left me stumped. I reinstalled the windows again to check if windows was causing this but its acting all the same even in EFLC. As mentioned in the OP, I have checked all other logs but no .inis seem to have any record of this problem except the LCPDFR log. My system specs are: i7 2600k @ 3.4GHz nVIDIA GTX560Ti 1GB custom OC'ed by myself 8 GB RAM with heatsink Corsair TX750W V2 PSU Hope that info is enough and sums everything up?- 1.0c Suspect Transport crash
Playing on 1070. Calling for suspect transport crashes the script essentially everytime. What I tried: - Kicking out ELS isn't a solution like I read on some other similar thread. - Shuffling/replacing transporter models in the .img AND .ini. Problem still reproducible. - Double checked the semi colons after model names in .ini. - Tried setting Preloadallmodels = True but it seems this feature has been discontinued in the latest version. No traces of the issue in any other .ini files. Only the LCPDFR log records this f@#k up:- I <3 BLUE

I dunno if you've noticed but your HDR reflections are all messed up. Also, I would advise you to increase the samples if you don't want grainy and lower AA quality reflections.- LCSO

You're blowing it out of proportion. He's right. We're all crashing with v8. And I, for one, can confirm that v8, in particular, is causing it. I have investigated mine thoroughly and then reached this conclusion. Put the files out of directory and my EFLC runs just fine. Besides, what he's writing over there is called constructive criticism. And I know you don't, but most mod authors love receiving feedback in that form. Thats how they learn about the issues that sneaked past the beta-testing stage and infested the release candidate.- For All the Crown Vic Lovers
I think almost all of us grew up during '90s-'10. That was when media and hollywood rose and played a more significant role in people's lives than ever before. Since that was when Crown Vics also dominated the market and found places in most Police Departments' garages, for the media, the definition of police became- Crown Vics. Thats what they showed, and thats what we watched and fetishized ourselves with. Crown's no magical car. Its just that the situations and timings for it were right. Had Dodge been leading in this business at that time, you all would have been going gaga over Chargers by now and Crown Vics would have been nowhere to be seen.- ELS v8 bugs
I'm surprised Kanyo didn't know about drct until now? @GRAW: Your problem is that you haven't set the patterns for your PatIDs for Yelp Alt1 and 2 in the .ini and thats why they're resetting when cycling through the sirens, most likely.- Enabling Working Rotators (ELS 8)

My words were taken out of context. I never said I'm angry with Caine on this issue. Its just that I'm frustrated with this... bug or intentional feature or whatever it is. When ELS 8 first came out, I was reading the documentation and came across this "LO" feature. But I was assured Caine won't leave us without an option. I was wrong. Its only yesterday when I realized that we're screwed when I was trying to configure pattern presets for my car with a halogen lightbar. So what I did was I pressed J three times to activate Lstg3 and then turned off SECL. Now with PRML and WRNL activated, I could concentrate on setting only those two up. Ironically, though, there's no option which could sync my WRNL with PRML's ROTA pattern. So now, my SLR's bulb no. 2, 4 and 6 (the WRNLs) aren't in sync with 1, 3, 5 and 7 which are PRML, because there's no ROTA option for WRNLs.- ELS 8 PRML "LO"? Why? How do I change it back? Oh, I was about to make a thread on this (good thing I checked for similar threads before). Its a pain in the arse really. I made an ELS-H car for personal use months ago. Now I can't seem to set the pattern I want right. My rotators light up only half on Lstg2 while the env reflection works fine as if the rotators are functioning as well as they can. Its unrealistic as f&%*. I mean why force it on those who didn't want it? He could give us an option for 1and2 as well as 3and4. But the .ini's hell bent on giving us a choice.
