Callout "Traffic Backup"
All good input guys. I'm still moving forward. I think the first release my goal is to have it so you assist in the arrest, (minor traffic backup will come later), arresting of AI could go down these paths... Officer orders out - searches, arrests, no issues. Officer orders out - suspect takes off, pursuit takes places under standard LCPDFR uses. Officer orders out - does not comply, stays in vehicle (Debating about locking doors) Officers orders out - exits vehicle, facing officers, does not comply - maybe goes to fighting stance/fist fight (Zap time?) Officers orders out - exits vehicle brandishing weapon (who knows what will happen from there.)

Cry ENB with shadows?
Hey guys. So I've been running Cry for a bit now, and recently did a backup of my safe copy of GTA IV to do some modding, I've noticed that it seems Cry ENB disables night time shadows... Unless a person runs directly into the headlights of a vehicle no shadows are rendered... I feel like I'm paying the performance cost of rendering high quality shadows, but not seeing them. I'm getting 50FPS, 40 lows, R9 290 with a 8350 CPU... and it run smooth, but I'm just not seeing them night time shadows. I wanna see the suspects shadow when I'm about a beat'em with that baton! Anyone else using Cry ENB on Ultra + higher and not having shadows or is this just me? Is there a additional setting I need to check or should I try a different ENB?

Callout "Traffic Backup"
Just a SIDE NOTE to anyone using ELS - Make sure the RANGE (in the ELS.ini file) is put up to at least 500. (Talking about Els_Range_Pl, and Els_Range_Ai). If the AI one is under 300, and I attempt to spawn a Police Vehicle, ELS will force a clean up and delete that vehicle... :( 0.97 uploaded! Aim'd at crashes and disregards (no spawns). Backup Callout is a plugin for LCPDFR 1.0d, which uses LCPDFR API calls to plug in fluidly into your game. Its currently all about assisting a primary officer, which has called dispatch for a additional unit (YOU), to assist him in a high risk traffic stop. Be careful. These felons don't want to go back to jail. 1.18[hotfix] addresses the issues of the callout ending without crashing LCPDFR if it fails to create on your computer. I'm going to start working on my first callout. One thing I would love to do is back up a Officer. Most callouts so far seem linear - in the point that if you get a possible drug call, you know what to expect... So I'm working on a assist call as the secondary for a traffic stop (for starters, its going to be in a serious degree IE stolen, felony stop, wanted, so forth). 1,17 PREVIEW >DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING CRASHING TO DESKTOP ON CALLOUT ACCEPTED, YOU NEED TO BE SURE THAT THE VEHICLES YOU ARE RUNNING, ARE NOT THE CAUSE! Spawn Locations for 1.18[hotfix] (Uploaded 2051 hours, 02MAR2015!) Completed Features: Normal Traffic stops added. Low chance of normal out comes going "sour" ;) Traffic requests happen map wide, city and highway. 4 out comes to the traffic stop - all of which can change based on the random statistics given to the felon on creation Assign State or County Police Officers to Highway Traffic stops and assist. Idea pool + planned features Suspect flees on foot Add to the INI file the ability to set callout ratio types (no normal traffic stops, all, or some) Dialog between primary and secondary officer before and after incident. Suspect stays in vehicle - non-comply, locks doors (debating about adding) Suspect throws drugs on ground (player must collect) Improve spawning of city related felon traffic stops (rarely grabs a bad spot) Add carspawn options (letting players pick which vehicle in a INI spawn as the primary, and officer uniforms.), add stock spawning variety. Add spawn points for highway traffic stops (current method needs to grow to handle this) Add non-felon stops, traffic assists for normal infractions, suspected drugs. To add, have suspect with drugs chance to flee vehicle and drop drugs. Add ability to search vehicle in more detail. Dabble in seeing if I can make a scripted event to assist as a sobriety administering unit for a possible DUI/DWI call

Anonymous Targets ISIS: "You are a virus; we are the cure"
Anonymous always does funny and good things. I have to slightly disagree Pavelow. While I don't think it has a large impact, some of the recruit drive does come from internet propaganda. They might seem barbaric, and have no tech to them at all, but in a country that can have a CD burned boot-leg pirated copy the day of a release of a movie in open showing, they are always underestimated in terms of communication. JSOC has been hammering them for awhile now, most of the initial hits have been from internet chatter... I do however agree that money flows from the poppy... but coming up with a alternative to them to make a living, is wwaayyy harder said then done... OH - P.S. CriminalKillaz. I've noticed you've expressed your opinion on joining the service and going over there... If you don't want to be let down by your military experience... get in shape, get yourself a topo-map (google it if you live in a hilly / wilderness area - leave your phone and GPS behind, or off, as a backup...), and hitch your ass off with at least 70lbs in a ruck for awhile... then sign up for that X-Ray program... Be warned... If you wash out ... you'll end up in the dreaded home of the 82nd paratroopers... pray you never find out! Otherwise your chance of being exposed to action is low...

Expired reg, to revoked lices, to illegal drugs, to loaded weapon in the car! All in one stop!
Good thing once of us does! Man I go thru so many files - I had someone ask me on youtube what vehicle that was and I sadly couldn't give credit. I think I've got over 100 vehicles on my computer saved right now, and all of them are poorly named... ;)

Grand Theft Auto V vs. Real Life
Thats pretty damn kool. Think of what that means in terms of team size and research. People don't understand why these games take so long to come out - its because of attention to detail! I was dumb founded once I started to realize how many files, not just animations but even just audio that GTA IV held. It takes a hearty amount of personnel to complete something like this.

AI Cop at a Traffic Stop :o
Ok so once the AI moves to the door side of the car - what events would everyone like to see take place? Keep in mind - I'll also be adding more detail down the road in terms of the vehicle leaving (random timer) before you get there and a pursuit kicking off, the officer getting into a fight (before you get there)... But what events would you like to see besides the officer having the person step out and arrest them? The backup calls are going to be for stolen vehicles, felony traffic, and serious traffic violations (and of course down the road, just normal requests for backup). Just in case you guys think I was lying - heres the start - where do we want it to go from here!? http://youtu.be/cskf4JnU_70 Using multiquote as a "poke" system. Check post above.

Expired reg, to revoked lices, to illegal drugs, to loaded weapon in the car! All in one stop!
I'll go from start to finish to clear things up, little tricks I've picked up also in using LCPDFR tasks at certain times. I used to auto detect ALPR to get a hit on the plate. Its a LCPDFR thing. When stop'd in a car, press E and toggle the enable/disable. It will return all types of results and give incentive to pull over. Once I pulled the vehicle using LCPDFR, I used Callouts + (by LukeD), to check the vehicle plate. It is a callout system that has a good bit of uses. After I made contact with the driver for his ID, rather then call it on radio, I selected do not check. It stores his name so I can either check it on my computer, or simply keep going forward in the stop. I went back to the car to check it on the computer - but since I didn't pick to go to the next stage in the stop, I still had the options to issue a ticket, order out of vehicle, or give a warning (even though the options disappear, they are still active!). This lets me create distance to order them out. Once I ran his name, and saw he was also revoked, I ordered him out. Expired reg wasn't a big issue and would have been a ticket, but because his lices was no dice also - time to get out! Once I got him out, instead of going right to arrest like most do, I order'd him to stop by pressing E once, then checked out my frisk option by holding it (and select frisk under investigate). Once I frisk'd I then went to arrest, and after that I searched the car for the final result. I used Callouts + to call a tow truck in, and that was it. I'll be doing more videos when I'm not head deep in scripting. I really enjoy trying to play realistic and because I don't have a normal time frame, I'll never be able to take part in some of these extremely demanding "clans", so I look to improve the single player experience. Sub to me for more guys! If you've got any other questions fire away, but quote me so I don't miss it.

Just had a rather smooth, but could have went deadly stop for a expired reg, and I figure'd I'd say how jacked up this guy was! I'll be making more videos of scripting and patrols so don't hesitate to sub!

AI Cop at a Traffic Stop :o
Yea I just have to get comfy with the LCPDFR API and I'll start making stuff. Currently just toying around but I might start to work on this, it seems pretty simple and straight forward. Just started to mod for GTA IV - so far its addictive. Just got done making my stop sticks mod (still working on it, but its released at least.) >Stop Sticks Mod

You know what guys - screw it. I'll take my first stab attempt at the API making a standard and basic officer backup for traffic stop! :|

AI Cop at a Traffic Stop :o
Seen it a few times. Always pull up behind to assist. Sometimes once they arrest them though they will pull up and slam the hell outta the bumper of the guy they just arrested... so your thought process goes like this... "OMG this is decent, AI doing work! I'll back them up!" -VROOOM BAM! CAR ALARM "... -.- so close";

If you guys are interested I ask that you keep following it - I'm going to keep improving it and perhaps add other toolsets I can think of that police would use - that would add depth to play.

V 1.04 = USE STOCK GTA IV OBJECTS. V 1.06 = USING 3D STOCK STICKS MODEL. Thanks to those that step'd up to help make the model. Its very light weight, and I'll keep improving it in the future - I just wanted opinions on how its running now. In case you're confused as to what a stop stick is, same thing pretty much as a spike strip. Below is a video of what it does. Currently intended only for us single player guys. "You bring the art" implies I'm still looking for someone to make me a 3D model that I can use in GTA IV that looks like a stop stick. If interested PM. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUDBEh0nOx4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4pzBh6j0TI Upcoming Plans : Link the objects together, to make them see more realistic. Give the player the ability to "tug" them out of the way. Multiplayer testing (multiplayer version will most likely not feature the physics or tug ability, just to keep things safe.) Known Issues : Letting the vehicle you deployed the stop sticks out of despawn, if the sticks are active can create null ref. Using online will not pop a players car tires, only AI (will get around to fixing it) Fixed : Improved issue with returning the strips to the trunk after large duration of having time and moving. Send a message if you run into any issues! Thanks goes out to LtFlash for letting me pick his brain. I will continue to be a pain in his side.- 29 comments

[API][WIP/REL] Callouts+ - Additional LCPDFR API Callouts
I'm having issues with EMS showing up, it will be delayed heavily (the message of them even being dispatched), and often casues a crash after a few minutes. Tow truck guy works good - but gets stuck on the door when he exits the truck - just requires a gentle push. ;) For the police removal I'm getting a constant binging sound, and the ~'s saying line 150 removal (object) over and over. Doesn't crash me, but I have to reloadscripts. Reference problems to the object I wanted removed? Questioning a suspect in vehicle thats been detained (Order'd to stepout using F10 LCPDFR, and detained in Vehicle using options.). Says I need someone from a pullover. Another Reference problem? If you need me to give ya' anything more - I can. The callouts are working well besides the street race being iffy sometimes, and the Officer Down (which is one I like)... Either way enjoying the script.

ELS V8 Not Working - Lights Steady Burn With No Flash
Yea the first thing I'd check it make sure that the ELS8 is using ELS8 files - set all your SLOT controls back to the default and see if that does anything...
