  1. If people are having trouble with GFWL, you could use xliveless which means the game can run and be used properly without GFWL getting in the way and messing things up. For me, it works perfectly fine even with scripthook installed.
  2. I've encountered a problem with model spawning. I am using the reskin+Heads versions, with the long and shortsleeve vest option. Sometimes, there is the model of the cop in a shirt (with the radio by his shoulder) But the texture that gets loaded onto that model is one of the vests. Does anyone know what might be causing that?
  3. I am pretty sure picking up a health kit fixes your outfit, I can't be sure about drinking Sprunk. If you're not near a health pack, calling 911 and asking for an ambulance will send a medic to you who will walk over to you and heal you, but I can't be sure if it fixes your clothes either. You could get the trainer, it comes with an option to clean your clothes, which would remove the blood.
  4. Not sure how many people have heard, but tomorrow (Sunday 15th September) at 8pm UK time, Absolute radio are doing a show called the Grand Theft Radio show. Featuring Pete, a presenter for the station and Lazlow from the GTA series. Those in the UK can listen to it on radio or by using some phone apps, people outside of the UK can listen to it online. There's details on the website. I've also noticed a competition to win a GTA V themed bike at the bottom of the page. More info can be found here: http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/freebies/competitions/grand-theft-auto-v/index.html
  5. For my NYPD, I usually for a default pattern in the config and have it set to 27 (for the primary lights) and don't change the secondary lights (I haven't noticed the NYPD use a set pattern for their secondaries).
  6. Not sure why, but I do quite like this Osaka police Nissan Caravan, probably because it's different to the common vehicles we see:
  7. Thanks, nice to see you also stuck to using the Taser when confronted with a weapon like Brit cops do, I don't have the patience lol.
  8. I do quite enjoy using the butt of my shotgun or grip of my pistol, modded to be a H&K USP Compact, quite effective at getting people to comply.
  9. Nice video, enjoyed it, what sound mod are you using for weapons?
  10. It's great, not enough Australian emergency vehicles out there.
  11. Hi all, Recently, I've been playing around with the different files in the common/data directory, mostly making peds/cops walk differently and adding them to different groups. I have been attempting to make different vehicles (such as the feroci2, for example) not only patrol around as a police car, but also be available as a selection in the LCPDFR vehicle selection. I have managed to add the Speedo and the Feroci2 to the group that makes them drivable by cops, but I haven't been able to select them in the vehicle selection. Does anyone know what I need to do to make them appear in traffic as cop cars as well as have LCPDFR recognise it as one? Thanks in advance.
  12. Is that the launderette van you chase in the mission for Vlad?
  13. If it feels to heavy, you may want to go into the handling.dat and alter the centre of mass for the polpatriot, there are posts all over the internet which kinda explain how to edit it, but it's mostly trial and error. What you want to do, is just fly around corners in the car and see if you tend to flip over, or spin out. If you spin out, your centre of mass is too high, if your flip, it's too low. The fact that you may have a high centre of mass could be why it feels heavy when stopping, so just speed around the city and experiment. Or it could be because Darth is pro with the ranger :P
  14. Glad I could help, everyone's game/computer likes and dislikes certain models, it's just a case of trial and error and see what you can have.
  15. Do you have every other vehicle modded? (All police vehicles and the Ambulance and Fire Truck). If so, try Making one of the other vehicles a vanilla, and then have the polpatriot with a modded ELS vehicle (I know that having all ELS vehicles can make the game unstable, and by just having 1 vanilla can increase stability) It could also be to do with the polys of the vehicles you're using, and your computer can't handle it, try using a modded non ELS vehicle, they tend to have less polys. It could just be that those models don't work on your computer. I know that for me, a GMC Yukon won't work 9/10 of the times I use it, so, try as many vehicles as you can (even cars like the Taurus or Crown Victoria) and see how that goes.
  16. I've been playing around with the vehOff.csv file to set up dashcams for the cars I use and have been playing around with the BONNET_FWD lines. I'm sure some of you know that following that, there are 3 numbers, each corresponding to the X, Y and Z position, does anyone know what order it goes in (Is it still X, Y, Z, or is it X, Z, Y or something else) and does anyone know what angle it is from (is it a top down view, meaning the X controls left and right, the Y controls forwards or backwards and Z controls up and down, or whether it's from the front meaning X is left and right, Y is up and down, and Z is forwards and backwards). Thanks in advance.
  17. What's new with the update you just posted?
  18. Very nice! They're looking pretty good
  19. It sounds a little like the siren we have over here in the U.K. Our police forces use a Whelen 295 siren, although, I have heard some slightly newer siren used by my county(Hertfordshire) Which seems to shorten the wail a bit. It seems to increase in pitch faster, and decrease slower, or at the same speed as before, I heard that it's supposed to help with people knowing where the siren is coming from. I do beleive that the siren in the video is a 295. The tone at the start of the video sounded like it was from a different siren though, not sure. Most British sirens on this site are 295's if you're interested in them.
  20. There's one I beleive by Braveheart or Double Doppler, I think many British police sirens will have it, I'm from Hertfordshire in England, and I have noticed that all emergency vehicles use that horn sound when changing siren types(Just a short burst of it) Here is one siren on the site with the airhorn:
  21. Have a look around this site for some British(Namely Metropolitan) police sirens, I'm pretty sure I have used this siren before in my game.
  22. This is the cleanest NYPD Siren I have heard, you should do more, prehaps including a Hi-Low for the police siren or some one of those PA siren tones I have heard a couple of NYPD cars use.
  23. What are you using to get the lights looking like that? Awesome Siren mod, downloading now, and thanks for the Ambulance link!
