Hey guys, Not sure if any of you have tried this or not. I use to do it all the time back in GTA IV. But I am finding it also works rather well with GTA 5 too. Go to this site here. New York EMS, NYPD others Basically you can click on different states if you wish, so if you want something more local in LA you can do that as well. But pick a precinct in this link I just linked up New York City and its live police scanner, you can pick EMS or NYPD or others. I run it in the back ground as I play the LSPDFR mod. Pretty interesting call outs and occasional Code 3 call outs as well and of course this is Real Life, not audio files. Just an idea for those that want that immersion effect. Play around with it a bit. Some precincts are more active than others. Regards

Hey guys, Hope I am in the right section this time. Anyone know of a nice Tow Truck mod that doesn't just spawn on top of all the vehicles? Kinda like a GTA IV type of service where you can press T and one will show up in about 10 seconds or less etc. Thank you in advance

Hey guys, I know you guys are overwhelmed right now with the new LSPD First Response 0.1 beta This is just a more of a suggestion for the website. The website is awesome don't get me wrong, but its sometimes hard to differentiate between GTA IV or GTA V download section. Like a Tow truck mod or new vehicles etc. I have to look at the date and determine if its something from 2013 then its not for GTA 5. My suggestion would be to have 2 totally different sections of the website. Splash screen and the user can click on GTA IV or a GTA V button, then once there everything related to GTA 5 would be appropriate for just that game. I am finding mods that look great only to find out its not for this particular game and vice versa because I do still play GTA IV. Small thing in the scope of things but something to consider down the road. Thanks and great job on the release!

I know there is trailers for the LCPDFR, but it would have been pretty cool to see some in game footage of some of the mods beta testing it. Just some small 5 minute clips. Was it an issue that some of the other Mods could have stolen some of the ideas? Or was it just a release a 1.0 and go with it. I was just curious.

Ahhh gotcha my bad ;) Off subject, they should mess with people and make a Count up button instead for about 30 minutes then switch it back lol. I mean I know there is about 1500+ topic replies here and I am sure there is another 2k people that are just waiting for the download button to appear and are not commenting because they didn't bother to register, but why am I more excited over this than the actual release of GTA 5? Maybe GTA 6 they should seriously consider making a whole freaking game like this. Maybe pick different characters at the beginning Criminal / Police and then have a whole story mode based off of that. You can then do kinda what they have now with the online features where you can create a character screen etc. Dunno just a thought. Just seems the community of GTA series really likes these kinds of mods.

Should we remove other mods like Police Mod 1.0c Rev 6 ? Can we leave the other Native trainer. I really hope that this Rage hook is smooth as these other menus, I am loving the smooth menus of Police Mod. The way you can select which kind of officer and vehicle etc. without driving to a station? One last thing, Have any of you noticed the lack of police stations? May kinda suck if we have to drive a perp to a station and spend10 min just getting there, just a thought.

No need to be rude calling me a "donkey turd", I am a republican btw ;) I don't know, but but there were plenty of trainers out within a week of release that could get you free money for SP mode. Its all good, I did the same thing you did and I will be honest, by the time it got to PC, I didn't even finish half the campaign. Maybe if they tweaked the campaign a bit with some more added content. But I was like you and spent about $180 for all 3 platforms because I love this game. Now if LCPDFR does come out today and if the (Arrest, Frisk, Backup, call for ambulance/fire etc. ) works like they say it does, it will bring more and exciting life back to SP.

Sorry I had to laugh at your post. I hated the campaign so much that I had to finish 3 times on 3 different platforms!! man this thing really sucked! What the heck are you on about. The campaign was great.

The first 1.0 is always gonna have bugs, the only promising thing I can see is that ELS is really not needed as the cop cars look great as it is. I just want the pulling people over, get out of vehicle and arrest and frisk to work properly. No one wants to see a person or car vanish after arrest. Really hope this works the way they say it will. Well here is to hoping.

The other mods have been doing a pretty good job, I was only curious but do you guys collaborate together at all to make things smoother? Like for instance "Lights and Sirens Mod" then the tradition GTA V Police Mod 1.0c for example. I know the modding community to either be very cooperative or sometimes people take things personal meaning they keep their knowledge to themselves. Either way LCPDFR has and always probably will be the Mod of choice. Hope it comes out soon, I would love to just walk down coast and check out perps and question them without the car ya know. Maybe even perhaps give your guy a yellow shirt with Police a bike helmet and hit the beach... .I know sounds cheesy, but I like how smooth LCPDFR is while your just wakling down the street you can question people. Unfortunately the GTA IV version with ELS, Eye candy and car mods always seemed to crash my game. Couldn't get things to work like most people and I have a top notch PC. GTA V ELS lights already look amazing without modification imo. Anyways, Cheers! Hope it comes out soon! BTW, for the hard work you guys put in, I will be donating some money your ways via PayPal.

Found a cool site that has Stream Live Police Chatter for North Texas (i.e. Dallas / Fort Worth / Mckinney) if your interested. I will explain what I am looking for and you can tell me if its possible. Currently LCPDFR uses the "/" key to activate Light Modes. Not sure about you, but if you have ever been pulled over by the cops, they do not flip on the siren right off the bat to get you ease over to the side off the road. Understand ultimately you will be pressing the Shift key to initiate an actual stop, but I would really like to activate to be able to activate my ELS and have the car start to pull over before I press Shift. It seems like a simiple question on how to remap the "/" key. But it seems a question that either A:) it can't be remapped B:) no one can answer it So is there a way to do this remap the key to like "Space" for example or just plain default ELS "J" key?

Were you able to find the key mapping for any keys?

This was a great idea. I set the default G to my middle mouse button and I can toggle through the variety of sirens. Thanks.
