  1. Take a screenshot of your hierarchy. Expand your 'misc_l' or whatever you've named the dummy helper with all your light extras in it. Also, this is another dumb question, but do you have all the textures of the lights in that 'misc_l' and the models in another dummy helper? That could maybe fix it. It looks to me as though they haven't been put in the hierarchy correctly.
  2. Well that's funny. Must have been the ENB series it came with then. I'm using Savior ENB and it works great. Although, I really don't want this to happen again.

  4. Well, I'm kind of worried, because even though it says 700MB/3400 MB while using the commandline, it says my graphics settings are too high. And could it be the ENB I'm using? I'm going to try and see if the problem happens in another game.
  5. And what does this do? I'll try this.

  11. Well lets not jump to conclusions just yet. It's true, you can only have 4 liveries at a time, but if somehow with some magic sorcery, cj24 has managed to allow 5 liveries, you should contact him about this.
  12. o_O that is one heck of a Christmas tree... I'm not sure, I'd have a look over here and over on GPM as well, but that sure does have a lot of lights...
  13. Not bad! 5/5! It's a nice cop car, but I don't really like Tahoes. Whatever, I'm voting from a point of view looking for good lighting setup and design, etc, etc.
  14. Thanks. I was actually going to tell everyone to stay on topic, but I didn't want to be caught for backseat moderating. Thanks :D Well, I've made my decision! Multiplayer group it is! Anyone willing to play with me? I'm going to put together some models really quick.
  15. Hey guys, So I finally got my custom rig working yesterday, and I downloaded GTA IV and let it download overnight via Steam. I woke up this morning, started playing (with no mods) and it worked smoothly. I then downloaded LCPDFR, PoliceHelper, Policing, ELS and Game4Video's ENB and now after 10 minutes of gameplay, it starts freezing every couple of seconds, and then my Teamspeak starts going all weird as well. I was thinking this was an issue with Game4Video, however I ruled that out since I remembered it happened with another ENB I tried prior to Game4Video. I then thought it was my PC, however all my other games work really nicely, up til two hours ago, I thought it was GTA, but again, that theory was futile, since the conclusion came back to the one when I thought it was my PC. Now, I'm thinking it's my internet, since the multiplayer game was lagging (uses Internet) and since my TS was lagging (also using internet). Is anyone else having this problem? I really need help since I was so excited about this rig. PC specs are as follows: Intel Core i5 4570 Asus B85M-E ATX Motherboard 8GB RAM - Kingston HyperX Blu (2 sticks of 4) Antec 550W PSU Nvidia GeForce GTX 650Ti BOOST I really want to get to the bottom of this. Thanks.
  16. Okay, well try 1.0.7.0. When I first started playing GTA IV for PC, 1.0.7.0 was already out, so I haven't experienced any of these problems. Second, I REALLY recommend at least buying a little more powerful laptop that has like an Nvidia GeForce 230 or 220 or something, because Intel HD graphics will definitely not do you good. There'll be all sorts of issues, but if you don't want to buy a new machine, try 1.0.7.0, it might work.
  17. Uhm, I might try this in a GTA IV video when I start recording again tomorrow.
  18. Okay, so here it goes: Back in December (when I first heard about LCPDFR) I managed to download the mod on my old laptop (and it surprisingly worked pretty well). I joined a couple of clans, and then later in February, I created my own. That clan closed down back in August (it was semi-successful) and now I've got my custom built computer up and running (downloaded drivers and all less than 12 hours ago). I've seen lots of people who have sort of gone past the clan days and do multiplayer groups now. For example, BayAreaBuggs: he was in LCDPS and now he's part of the Code Zero crew, who are very successful and they are the only LCPDFR players I thoroughly enjoy watching playing. Another example is mattmcs2. He was in AST and now he just plays with some of the other members who left. So my question is, if I have already been in clans and done all of that, should I just play with a small group? What would you think? And also, if I were to go in a small group, would there be anyone willing to play with me? Just needed a bit of advice on this one.
  19. Okay, well back lighting is excellent.
  20. Hey, well I'm a modeler for SCNG, so if you request a mod on the SCNG thread or any other modeling studio's request thread, they'll probably be able to make one for you. Disclaimer: No advertising of SCNG was intended in this post.
  21. Your srang? LOL, just kidding (that was my impression of an Asian accent) your slang?
