  1. sounds like you have GTA5.exe in your Enhanced folder. If you do, rename it to _GTA5.exe, the file is there for OpenIV to work but Rage favours the legacy .exe file over the Enhanced one.

  4. something I've never really ventured into. We're currently looking into using props to make it act like a flashlight sort of and reflect light onto surfaces. I also think I found a way to have it "flash" as a .ydd but very complicated stuff and will take a lot of tries. and it's about 3000 poly
  5. yeah, flashing isn't something that can be simply done currently without causing instability, I am looking into other ways.

  8. I was looking into this and it's very very very complicated. First plan was to have the script flash between different texture slots but that would likely make the game very unstable so it was quickly scratched. I am currently looking into a way to use materials to have it flash between colours but it's not simple to understand, as soon as I get a working prototype it shall be updated.
  9. Hello, emissive means light emits from the model but due to the GTA Engine, emissive materials don't reflect on the floor. I will be discussing with Chris about a way to implement an actual light reflection onto the floor for a future update. You can probably notice that there is some sort of light coming out of the model compared to the "off model", that is what the emissive is.
  10. you might be on the first model which has no light, there are 3 models per shoulder 1 has no light 2 has front white & front red (2 textures) 3 has full lights around (1 texture)
  11. I believe too many clothing dlc packs can also bring up that error @Armouredivision I was testing light props, I guess it can be done, we'll look into it potentially.
  12. I need to go back and change the material being used anyway so I can combine it with a GTA interactive menu illuminated clothing toggle (can make it flash//pulse) so I guess I'll do different emissive levels at the same time how many clothing dlc packs do you have?

  14. ELS does not work on Enhanced as far as I know, I believe it's because of the AdvancedHookV file which might need porting if it even happens. Alternatively, you can use DLS which runs on RagePluginHook and works on Enhanced. Enhanced files are gen9 and OpenIV can only read gen8 files. I think Codewalker can open gen9 files but can't remember. I just do my edits on the gen8 versions and then convert it to gen9 using CFX Alchemist tool.
  15. Yes Codewalker has support for Enhanced. I still use OpenIV because I'm more comfortable with it. You can either install ZEnhanced or just File > Open Folder of Enhanced. (If using ZEnhanced make sure to rename the "GTA5.exe" (a file made for OpenIV to work on Enhanced) file before launching RAGEPluginHook or it won't hook to your game. If using the OpenIV method, it won't be able to read gen9 (Enhanced) specific files like .ydd or .ytd files but it can read your usual .xml and other text files. I believe Codewalker can read those other files for Enhanced. Razed (the person behind NVE) is working on RPFKit https://rpfkit.com/ it is not available yet but will be another modding tool that will support Legacy & Enhanced. From what I see it's a less daunting version of Codewalker.
  16. Just test for yourself, if LSPDFR crashes then it likely doesn't work

  18. Well first I would start with Policing Redefined, which is an overhaul system for ped interaction and backup (Note that Stop The Ped doesn't work on Enhanced which is why I recommend Policing Redefined). Most callout packs should work, you can try other plugins too (if you crash then it probably doesn't work for Enhanced). If you wish to venture into custom EUP or custom vehicles, that is more difficult and requires you to convert Legacy(gen8) models into Enhanced(gen9). If you are looking at map mods (mostly paid) like LWE, FOSAU, GTAVR, which put trees & props around the map, it may crash while using LSPDFR. Any other questions then you may ask.
  19. If you are using enhanced, stop the ped does not work due to memory patterns. Use Policing Redefined as an alternative.
  20. "There is no definitive place to install this within EUP" I can't give a path since everyone would want to use different slots & categories.
  21. yeahhh I didn't really know what to do with females because of rotation. I'll do more variations & different strength levels of light. Thanks for the feedback!
