Police Impersonator
From the album: GTA V Westlake County/Silverlake City
Lakeview County Police have one person in custody following an apparently police impersonation case. Officers were called to Highway 5 just after one this morning, after a motorist said they had been stopped by a suspicious vehicle flashing red and blue lights. When officers arrived they found an older model vehicle outfitted with red and blue flashing lights, and a male wearing a security uniform. The male has since been arrested and is facing charges of Personating a Peace Officer. "We encourage drivers to be wary of the fact that Lakeview County Police do not utilize unmarked police vehicles to perform traffic stops, and that if you are indicated to stop by an unmarked vehicle, to activate your hazard lights, and contact 911 dispatchers to confirm the stop." said Supervisor II Travis Stilst. "All Lakeview County Police Vehicles are painted white, and are outfitted with the proper police markings on all sides of the vehicles. In addition, all Lakeview County Police Vehicles have a special licence plate that faces the front and back that indicates it is a registered emergency vehicle." "At no time is a Lakeview County Police Officer permitted to make a stop without a police uniform." Lakeview County Police are still investigating the incident, and will release further information later on this afternoon. -

In-game shot to come soon. Since my Silverlake City textures seemed to be pretty popular, I am planning another pack release, this one called Lakeview County. - Code 3 Mastercom B

Snow in Blaine County
While last night was sunny and nice, residents of Blaine County are awoken to a surprise. It has snowed overnight, and roads are covered in snow. Snow is in the forecast for the next couple of days. "It's really early... Too early!" said one resident. And though it seems extremely early, it is here, and it is already hampering Emergency Service Crews. "We've had multiple calls for service, ranging from motor vehicle collisions to trapped individuals" said Deputy Sheriff Jones from the Blaine County Sheriff's Office. "It's highly encouraged that, until the roads have been plowed and conditions improve, that if you don't need to travel, then don't." Law Enforcement Officials are encouraging drivers that do have to drive over the next couple of days to follow these tips: -Double the normally suggested following distances for vehicles. This means, instead of two car lengths between each small vehicle, double it to four car lengths, or more. For larger vehicle Police recommend increasing the car lengths up to six to eight car lengths or more. -Always keep your eyes on the road, watching for snow drifts or ice patches. -Limit your speed. Although the signs may say to do a specific speed, in conditions such as these, it may be dangerous. Police encourage drivers to slow their speed by at least 10-20 km/h.
