You say you downloaded a scripthook from another site, my advice is don't. Reinstall LCPDFR with the auto-installer and let it install everything it needs too. Should work then. (Or is that where the problem is?)

You don't need eflc for LCPDFR. And I'm pretty sure you don't need to use Windows live to buy EFLC.

I'm definatly liking some of these and I don't think they've been suggested yet.

Nice and colourful. I'd speak to you on xfire but I'm a little busy to do RP at the moment. Does sound fun though.

From what I've heard, that's an old bug with LCPDFR. I don't think much can be done about it at the moment.

They can be installed on 32 and 64 bit. (when clicking the second link, there is a full stop at the end which shouldn't be there)

Anything related to LCPDFR won't work unless you activate it, so I think what you're experiencing is normal. You could try activating lcpdfr then going on a computer mission.

Try patch 1.0.4 then

If the backup generally locked onto your position it would be a great idea. And officers are already less aggressive (well in the new version)

Running it as admin should fix that error. Try reinstalling with xlive instead of dsound.

Thanks for trying to help frienno but you're slightly wrong. His problem is related to LCPDFR so it belongs here and He hasn't tried installing it yet so a log from that would be of no use. And to answer the problem, download the latest LCPDFR from here and then run it as admin (right click and run as administrator). It'll lead you through a few steps letting you choose what you want and when it has completed, LCPDFR is installed. If you are having any problems with that I can help you over team viewer or something. (edit: thanks for telling me olanov)

Over team viewer: I've tried installing and reinstalling LCPDFR a few times now using a fresh copy downloading from here. Tried both xlive and dsound. Tried reinstalling GTA IV completely and then tried on patch 1.0.6. I can't find anything wrong but GTA is crashing on launch it seems. Windows tries to find the cause. EDIT: 0.9F works. Yet the latest doesn't.

I highly doubt buying it again will fix it. Prehaps try reinstalling it?

I'm just going to copy what I said in the PM here too. Are you using any other mods besides LCPDFR? Are you using a cracked game?

The reason I asked for you to uninstall all your mods and install LCPDFR and try that was because I don't know which mods would affect it, if any do. And if you use the automatic installer it should put all the files in the correct places. But yeah, the files of the mod go into the EFLC folder.

We're only trying to help. If you don't want it then don't ask for it.

I'd try uninstalling those mods and then installing LCPDFR, it may fix it.

The diag tool can't find EFLC either. Have you done anything to it since you finished playing?
