  1. Go do a ride a long, see how much they slam on the gas pedal and slam on the brakes. Crown vics are great cars, but you don't want to buy one that was used as a police car. I did post a lot of helpful information your the one not posting anything. Its true, a lot of people that buy a EX-Police car just want to be that much closer to being a cop. I have learned that being nice and claim when trying to stop someone from making a big mistake doesnt work. I'm not a big ass like I seem like posting that. In fact behind the screen i'm a really nice and helpful person. I just change a little when trying to stop someone from making a mistake. But if you decide to go forward with buying this car, make sure these things have been done recently. Engine rebuilt (unless its under 80,000 miles because like I said that on police cars take the miles they have and double it) Transmission rebuilt (same thing as above) If your getting horrible MPG, rebuild the Carb. Also you may want to take it to get a tune up. Like I said your better off getting something that never use to be a cop car. I'm telling you from experience these cars get beat to shit. The only place that would be safe to get one is from a small town, where almost nothing goes on. Also insurance will be a lot higher just because it s a V-8 car. The difference between a v4-v6-v8 in insurance is huge...
  2. Alright my name is Nick to (ha ha ha) Do not by a retired police cruiser. Those old cop cars got retired for a reason, most departments use them tell its not worth fixing them anymore. Around here they use police cars tell its not worth fixing them anymore. (The department I ride with got rid of there 08 crown vic because the transmission was failing they sold it "As is" for $3400." Also a decent paint job to the point where it doesnt fall off in the rain will cost about $900-$10000 If it has 50,000 miles turn that around to about 100,000. Police cars get beat to shit, thats why most only last to 120,000 miles. If that 08 has 120,000 miles on it turn around and make that 120,000 to 240,000 miles. Do not buy a EX-Police car. Would you buy a car that was used in a Demolition Derby? Ex-Police cars are basically those cars... Also if your trying to be a "cop" and thinking driving a crown vic will make you so much closer to being a cop and a department sees you driving that when you go to get hired they will just laugh there ass off at you. Let me give you a list of cars that are more reliable then a crown vic. You don't need a V8, no one should have a V8 in there car as there first car, also 1 speeding ticket your chances of getting hired by a PD just got cut in half. 2002-2013 chevy malibu 2004-2008 pontiac grand pr Honda Accord Toyota Corolla Subaru Impreza 2.5i ford taurus ford focus All these cars will be 10x more reliable then a crown vic, I drive a 2003 chevy Malibu and I have 137,000 Miles on it. Yes its not a crown vic but who fucking cares? If your first car you get anything you can afford then buy a car you want later on. I know your young and you want that car and no matter what people tell you, you will still probably go out there and buy one. Ever heard of something called MPG. Crown Vics get about 16 combined. Thats if you are very very light on the gas pedal and braking. Here is the total cost of that car once everything you need is done. Paint job: About $1,000 (for a decent one and it doesn't fall off when it rains) New tires or anything like that: About $800-1200 (which it will need something like that people sell cars for a reason and usually when they need to put a big pile of cash into it, they decide to sell) Gas: Depends on how much you drive but about $50 a tank. Total amount: $4500 Also like Light said, these cars are on almost 24/7, which is horrible for the car, and all the parts in it. Police department sell cars for a reason, 9 times out of 10 its not worth fixing up anymore...
  3. It isnt the best picture but was the only one I could find of it (We have a plane crash a few weeks ago so this is when it was taken) But I kind of like this picture going to set it as my desktop background.
  4. GTA 4 Bucket List: Buy a nice car Buy a nicer car Pick up a hooker or two in that nice car Buy a nice house Rob a bank Buy a nicer house Fall off a building and land on some old lady walking down the street
  5. ahh to bad but really so what? By the time that happens GTA 5 will be out and will be 100000.9X better. GTA 4 online sucked, it crashed, it lagged, was really unstable to be hoenst i'm not going to miss it at all because GTA 5 will fill that hole in my heart...
  6. ahh cool, the laws I read must of been out of date.
  7. Still there under trained, that 75% other time should be 99%. Around here if one officer fucks up the entire department gets retrained in that area. This entire department needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up and retrained its pretty clear no one has any idea what the hell they are doing. Given a few might be really good officers but from this video it just shows a bunch of Idiots with guns.
  8. From what I read, unless you are in your tow truck you really can't have them. You can not put them on a personally vehicle, the vehicle has to be doing work that would require the lights for safety. Such as working on the highway or towing a vehicle ect.... So for a EXP, I can't put them on my Chevy Malibu because I think they look cool, but however I can put them on my Tow truck because I will be doing work with that vehicle that would need the lights for safety reasons. (This is what I found after about 15 minutes of googleing not to sure if its right or not)
  9. As most of you know i'm a pretty big police supporter and will defend them all day long. I'm glade he is getting arrested, but its not all his fault. I'm starting to think that the Toronto PD is severly undertrained. Just watching that video it was a total cluster fuck. No one knew what they were doing 1 person had his gun out some others are just looking up at the stars going ohh look at that shooting star. Before someone comes attack me look at the facts, they have had more incidents like this or similar then the county of Milwaukee and Waukesh, in the past year. (All together is about one Million people) I hope something is done about this police department because the facts point to a under trained and under supervised police department. If nothing is done you will probably see more of this in the near future...
  10. https://www.humblebundle.com/ Orgine/Steam teamed up to help some charity raise money. All you need to do is donate a penny more then the average and you get all the games listed there for what ever you donated for. Best part about this is that it goes to charity or at least most does. Thought you guys wanted to know... So you can get about $215 worth of games for $4.73 but maybe you want to donate a little more to help some charity's out... BUT hurry this offer is only available for about 13 days!!!!
  11. Ok good, I hate it when people turn nice classics into race cars, it just makes me feel bad for the car. Right now i'm trying to find a 67-68 mustang to have fun with... no I haven't, but i'm kind of interested going to google it right now
  12. I don't see the point in having a classic car like that then turning it into a drag car. 80% of the fun of owning a classic is driving it down the road and showing it off.
  13. good for you, really no one cares about you going code zero...
  14. Specs: Intel intel i7 3770k 12 GB of RAM Geforce GTX 670 700 WATT power supply and also I do some over clocking now and then. I can play singal player for hours on end with out crashing, i'm talking about PLAYING ONLINE. It doesnt matter how good of a computer you have, GTA is a horrible game for the PC because of the way its coded. Singal player is ok but Online is about 100X more unstable.... So i'm calling
  15. There are over 6000 different police cars for GTA 4, i'm pretty sure you can find one that suits your needs... Also before you go head and do this let me make sure you know, with that many lights and high poly models have fun lasting no longer then 10 minutes playing online with LCPDFR running...
  16. Patrol: Takes calls, and what not Traffic units: 99.99% of the time they deal with traffic (speeding, accident ect...) Then 00.01% of the time they will respond to calls/help out an officer
  17. It will be a little better but not by much. AI actions to do there own actions is really really hard to get right. Basically its no different then trying to program a robot to take out the trash or something like that. Its extremely hard and no one has ever been able to get it to work the way they want it. (with out scripts leading it every foot) I would say GTA has some of the smarter AI out there, compared to other games they are the smartest. Hopefully rockstar will make a break through with it.
  18. 99.99999% of those guys use google.... I know a few people on geek squad and they only use google. They tried to tell me my entire computer was shocked and I needed to buy a new one (they tried to sell me on at best buy) then I took it home, turns out the motherboard plug wasnt in all the way. So no they really don't know anything. Alright you said it gets stuck at the motherboard screen. Try to enter into the BIOS by hitting what ever key it is to get into it. Then make sure all your settings are correct. Here are a few trouble shoot ideas that will give you a pretty good idea what is wrong. Be sure the MB is hooked to a speaker. Remove the RAM and boot the system. If the MB does not beep with an error code recognizing there is no RAM in the system, you likely have a bad MB. Launch with just basic parts. (CPU, 1 stick of ram and hard drive) Report back if that works Clear the COMS (I will post both ways down below) Resetting the BIOS will fix it 9/10 times. It just a freak thing that sometimes happens and the bios don't run right Look for the "clrcmos" jumper on your mobo and move it to the 1-2 setting for a few seconds then back to its original 2-3 settings. Remove the mobo Battery(looks like a watch battery) for 5minutes and replace it Don't try this once and give up try it at least 5 times each before you give up on those remember you need to reboot each time. Also try making sure your speakers are plugged in and listen to any beeps. If something is wrong it will give you a beep code. POST YOUR SEPCS. If you don't know your specs I really can't help you any farther with out knowing specs. I mean really bought a computer but don't know the specs?
  19. They do make sense you just don't understand them. The only reason case got tried was because the "The community" starting to protest and light fires and just become way out of hand. They don't care about the kid they only want to protest and cause trouble. Sorry but his parents don't care about their kid they just want money, sorry to say it but a lot of them are like that. Here in Milwaukee when a kid died in the back of a cop car when he had his funeral the parents didn't even show up they just wanted money and that was it...
  20. Really then why does that quote down below this text have 4 swear words in it? Here let me bold them so your blind eye can see them better.
  21. Not surprised at all, he will have to live in fear his entire life same thing with his family... Even the jury and the lawyers...
  22. Yeah hes not guilty, but to what kind of life? He and his family will have to go into hiding, because they are going to fear for their lives everyday because some people will feel the need that they need to serve justice. Same thing with the lawyers and the people in the jury. They will all have to go into hiding. They won't be able to take into account that a jury (of 5 mothers) found him not guilty they were really involved in taking notes and everything. But they won't see that all they see is a Hispanic male that shot a black kid. To be honest he is probably going to have to leave the country.... So he is not guilty but at the same time he is still getting punished, he will never be able to live a normal life again...
  23. A lot of people mix up abusing their badge and doing police work. Some times you need to stand up as a cop and say "l'm the one in charge in not you, now sit down and shut the hell up" A lot of people will see that abuse of the badge but that isnt abuse. That is just using force to be able to get your job done. Now lets say you use your badge to cut a line to a movie then yes that abuse. But a lot of what you see isnt abuse. Cops can't be mr.nice guy, because if they did well they would just stepped on and people would just ignore them. So if they start to see that happening they will step up and say who is in charge here and say who has the badge. Like a while ago I was on a ride along and this women just kept interrupting and wouldn't let him get a word in, he needed to end the traffic stop and get her to sign the ticket (as we had a 911 call) he raised his voice basically told her to shut up and sign the ticket.
  24. and there was some witnesses that said whats his face was on top and zimmerman was on the bottom getting his head beat in. No one knows what truly happen, many of the witnesses has changed their stories many times.
