  1. @Trooper 923 might be of interest to you?
  2. Yeah, you bet! I know and feel the frustration of trying to find the matching font! Will definitely spend hours sometimes! That is actually a pretty nice livery design.........might have to work it into a lore friendly version at some point.
  3. Hey - did you figure this out yet? If not............hang on a sec. Looks like one of the "Serpentine Bold" fonts would be a good match for the main POLICE....... And, for the smaller text, maybe something out of the basic Arial family would work well.........
  4. Hey there - I see it has been quiet a few months since you posted this......did you get any help, or find a solution otherwise. I stumbled across your post while searching out more info on making reflective liveries, lol. Anyhow - I think that rather than simply deleting the "reflective" texture file.........you need to put something back in there. From what I understand (which isn't very much, mind you!) of model builds and how the texture "dictionary" works, you can't just take out a texture file you don't want - because the model was made with that texture file in place, so it will always look for it......I think? The exception to that rule would be multiple livery files, the "sign_1, sign_2", etc - you can delete the extra ones you don't want/rename what you do want, as long as there is a "sign_1". So, what you need to do with the reflective texture - is replace it with a blank or completely transparent file. Pull it out of the texture dictionary, into your graphics program. Erase all the images on that file (or just create a new image with matching dimensions), save/overwrite what you pulled out......then drag/drop it back in to OpenIV again.
  5. Hey there! This car model looks great - definitely interested in working with it! Thanks for the release! Regarding the download files - can you double check the template file you uploaded? When I download and extract it, it opens as a DDS file - but, then shows completely blank when I open it in GIMP.......??? Unless I am doing something wrong? Maybe just post the template right here in the message thread as a jpeg or png, if that work easiest? Thanks!
  6. Nice work on these liveries. Look to be very accurate to the real life design. I can definitely appreciate the work and effort that goes into making the gradient shading in the striping!
  7. Great looking, unique model! Could you share the template.........maybe just post it in the message thread here, if that is the easiest. I have some exisiting liveries I would love to rework onto this model!
  8. ^^ these........ ^^ THESE ^^ ........ Absolutely - thanks so much to you, and all the other devs, for all the amazing *FREE* work you all do for the game. (and, for those players willing and able, the paid stuff is awesome too!)
  9. Hey - wow, very nice liveries! Appreciate the amount of work, effort, and detail you put in to it - looks like unique unit numbers for the majority of them........small detail, but appreciated!. Will definitely keep this one in mind! As a suggestion - how about a few in-game screenshots to really showcase your work? And......maybe a list of the vehicles you have done the liveries for? I realize the full list is obvious once you download and open the file - but, I had no idea how many options you made! Also, how about suggested vehicles/bases the liveries would work for?
  10. Yeah - I was able to use a couple of existing liveries I had, from other Georgia packs I've already released on LSPDFR last fall! Tried out the model in game a bit - looks awesome, nice work! Will either update those packs with a link to your model.......or, maybe create a new release with these two linked to your model, and links to my previous agency packs - might generate a bit more traffic on those! LOL One question regarding the lighting. You mention that you made it (the ELS file) a specific Soundoff pattern and build - I notice there is lots of white in the flash pattern. For the stage 1 lighting (typically the rear TAs only) - which I think is labelled as "SECL in the .xml file? - there doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on?? Is that the intent? I only seem to see the mirror flashers on, and then maybe a tiny red and blue bulb in the rear window? But, the environmental lighting looks like much more red/blue going on. Any thoughts on that - am I missing something?
  11. OK thanks! Just to be clear......I wasn't asking you to make more liveries! I was wondering if you were cool with other people (say......like me!) making and releasing other texture liveries for your model - with a link and full model credit to you, of course. Was thinking I might work this model into one of the other texture packs I have released......or future projects.
  12. Looks like a great model - thanks for the release! Would you have any problems with other liveries being released for it? Looks like Matt's Charger template will work for it. Having asked that......this is a pretty cool livery design!
  13. Hey man - glad an old "necro" post helped!! I definitely understand the "CRAZY" part of trying to figure things out.
  14. Wow......amazing work! Fantastic detail, and I can certainly appreciate the amount of time and effort you would have spent on it. Don't see the embroidery effect done very often, and your's looks superb. It is a very "niche agency", though........maybe for a follow-up project, do up one of the lore-friendly agencies? I bet many of the EUP creators would snap it up!
  15. Hey - this is great! Just saw you update the mod with some code corrections to fix FPS. That was my problem back in March last year..........will definitely try a re-install of your mod! Looks like you have made some other great improvements since then. Thanks!
  16. Alright, sounds good - thanks for the reply. I will have to give it a go when I have a chance. If I remember, lol, I will put another reply in here with the result. Thanks for sharing your work!
  17. Any idea/experience with how this mod interacts with the "AI Fluidity and Discipline" mod? We all know that vanilla AI drives weird and crazy sometimes, lol. I really like how the Fluidity and Discipline mod really helped smooth things out a lot more - behaving and flowing more like real traffic does. But.....the downside was that it also tended to slow every AI vehicle down - enough so that radar patrols became boring. Wonder if your mod would allow the speeds to be kicked up a bit, but still keep the fluid/discipline aspect in play? I haven't looked at the breakdown of what file paths each one changes. Guess I might just have to experiment on my own! lol

Hello again! Back in October, I released a single vehicle (lightbar and slicktop versions) livery for the South Simcoe Police Service, as "memorial" for the two officers that were killed that month. For that livery, I had used their badge numbers as the unit callsigns, and created my own angel wing "in memory of" decal. As part of that release, I mentioned really liking the overall design of the livery, and being interested in making a full pack. I had asked for someone to suggest a pack to use. Someone took me up on that offer, and I am pleased to release the final result. All vehicle models or packs are linked further below. The photos above show a number of their actual vehicle photos for comparison, as well as in game pictues of my liveries on the vehicle models - I strive for accuracy, and am very pleased with the results! All liveries have a unique callsign, and I made a number of specialty unit liveries as well. I have also included as part of each livery, the "official" Heroes in Life Memorial decal that South Simcoe Police designed and (I believe) started placing on all their units. The suggestion/request I received was to go with Ripples LSPD Legacy pack, as it was one DLC add-on that included the 3 types of vehicles that SSPS currently uses - FPISs, FPIUs, and a pickup truck. Plus, we all know that Ripple does great work! The pack gives a good sized selection of vehicles, with lightbar and slicktop versions of each model. I only worked on those particular SSPS vehicles in this pack - so, sorry......no Crown Vics or Chargers. And, the pick-up is a Silverado, instead of the F150 that SSPS uses. As a side note, there is a known problem with the slicktop Silverado model (lspd18) - it spawns with weird textures and colours. You can either chose to not use that model........or, I found that the problem could be resolved by replacing the lspd18.ytd file. Looked like that ytd mistakenly had a number of textures meant for one of the Charger models. I copied/pasted the matching lightbar Silverado model's (lspd8) .ytd file somewhere outside of OpenIV - renamed it to lspd18 - then copied/pasted it back into OpenIV, which overwrites the file with the errors. Have had no issues with the slicktop model since. Once again, I have tried to make my download file very organized and (hopefully) self-explanatory. Dig your way through the folders, choose the 4k or 2k quality, and instalI via the usual process in OpenIV, into the matching vehicle .ytd file. All the individual textures should be named properly, to allow for a drag/drop install. If you want to keep it simple, just use Ripple's Legacy pack addon and my associated liveries. Good variety of vehicles in that pack, and I have included some of the "specialty" unit liveries - Supervisor, Canine, ERU, and Community Services. Remember that the slicktop verisions will also come with an "unmarked" livery texture, courtesy of Ripple. Some of the models came with window texture templates as well - I put those to use for some of the unit callsigns (as they are on the real units).........don't forget to install those as well. But, if you are willing to go with a few more addon packs for some more variety........please consider and help yourself to the other livery options I have included. If you are a die-hard Ford fan and want an F150/250 model to use, like South Simcoe does, I got you covered! Chose Big G 069"s F250 model. I haven't personally used it much in game yet, but it has some great comments and reviews If you want to have an actual K9 model to use in game, I went with Rabbit's 2016 FPIU K9 model. I do use this vehicle in my game, and it is fantastic! Finally, if you want to have a couple more FPIUs to use in game, I tweaked my first Memorial livery a bit - taking off my original "angel wing" Memorial decal, and replacing it with the official decal. I hope you enjoy! As always: - please let me know if you have any issues with the liveries. - feel free to use these liveries on any other vehicles in your game that they happen to fit/work with, but I can only guarantee that they will work with the vehicles/packs that I have listed - while I strive for accuracy on the livery itself, I may have had to take some artistic license to "fill in the blanks" where I could not find a photo reference - while I tried to match the vehicles in general terms to what the agency uses, I make no guarantee that these vehicles are exact matches in regards to model year, equipment, lighting, etc - if there is another vehicle/pack that you want the livery to work with, please let me know in the comments or by a DM - I am sure we can work something out. Or, if you are able, go ahead and rework the livery to another template yourself to use - but, for use in your game only.........please don't repost and claim the work as your own - feel free to share photos or use in videos (would love to see some of those!)........just give credit back to me - please do not repost/upload or claim the liveries and work as your own, on this or any other site - I would appreciate and look forward to any feedback, comments, or reviews.......still pretty new at this - I am not responsible for "breaking" your game........none of these files will do that, if installed properly. If you are not sure on how to do so, YouTube and Google are your friends!
  18. Maybe check out this mod.....I haven't used it personally, yet - but the dev has a good rep.
  19. Developer, is maybe the better word you are looking for? Разработчик, может быть, это лучшее слово, которое вы ищете?
  20. OK, so I used Google translate for your message, and my reply back. If I understand correctly, you are having an issue with using F7 and the menu key for the radar gun itself. I believe that would be a question to try asking the actual LIDAR mod developer (Opus49) for help with. My simple mod here was just a change for the icon and text that would show up in the Weapon Wheel in game.
  21. Ummmmm...... English, please?
