I was really hoping I could my Crown Vic away for the winter but was unable to financially afford another car for the winter, that being said, i'm trying to find ways I can improve it over the course of Canadian winter (uggghhhh).. Any ideas? Next summer I want to buy some Whelen Vertex (Amber) and install them on my front & back fenders, new paintjob, possibly new rims from a newer year Crown Vic, but so far, that's all that I can think of right now, can anyone give me any ideas? i'm hoping to never have to drive it in another winter again & how can I get rid of rust underneath?

Well, some of Justin Biebers songs aren't terrible (only 2) he is a bit of a panzy & a trouble maker & for some reason can't seem to stay out of the headlines. I give kudos to Miley Cyrus though I can't STAND her music.. she keeps doing what shes doing despite what everyone thinks of her.. I give pretty much every kind of music a chance, until I continue to hear shitty songs that make no sense, like Lil Wayne for example.. he makes no sense.

Did you happen to ask what they think of it? the Mounties around here are pretty mixed, they have 3 here in Cole Harbour, they use the Crown Vics still a lot as well as the Tahoe & Charger I get mixed feelings whenever I ask.

Did they ever catch anyone? The Crown Vic is quite huge & doubt it would fit on some roadways. Don't they have the new Taurus?

Whats sad is, A black person can call me a honky, or a cracker & its fine, you say or do anything to them & you're a racist & if you're not racist, you're racially profiling people, example: I caught a black girl & her friends stealing last night & she tried saying I was racially profiling her when clearly, I caught her because she was stealing..& a black guy the other night, he put a bag of 4 chocolate bars in his hoodie pocket, I saw it & started following him & hadn't for the entire hour he was there & again same thing... if a white man did anything like what these black people are doing, knocking people out, we'd be crucified and called racists.. I live in Cole Harbour, about 15 minute drive to North Preston (Canadas Largest Black Community) I've taken vehicles up there & am most certainly not welcome up there, but they can live in the city without an issue. Double standards...

I personally think it takes a special kind of person to do that kind of job, a special kind of person to not get affected by the things they see on the daily, body parts from car accidents.. someones face, gone from the impact after they hit a pole, I personally think cops go crooked and do some of the horrible things they have done to people because they can't handle the job stress thus taking it out on whomever they can.. Being a cop, you see people at their worst.. @NYPDDetectiveOdonnel- quite a disrespectful post... ANYONE who serves or has served, cop or soldier alike, are heroes.

The town you live must be pretty small to only have 16 vehicles, but 200,00 miles, how many KM's is that? sorry I don't really understand the miles thing. When I bought my CROWN Vic I circled the block once and poof.. no more over drive lol $1900.00 later lol I don't think Canada beats their cars to that max lol I think cops here are 2 days on, 2 nights on 3 days off, so their cars are parked because they are Officer assigned, so compared to CVPI's in the states, mines brand new... lol

They are definitely an odd group, they definitely keep under the radar.

Sad that this is more & more frequent, examples of why anything that we find cool that the police do indeed use, we cannot have, because it is abused..

It does, it's on the driver side that rotted out, I figure if it on the vehicle, it should be working, but that's just me, however, I have no horn.. which makes no sense because you need a horn to pass a legit inspection.... I know of 2 people that know a lot about crown vics, 1 is a cab driver that pulled his car apart and rebuilt it into a new one I towed this summer in a matter of 3 days.. the other one is just arrogant because he knows so much about them, I can't be bothered.

I think it's a Canadian thing... HRP have 1 or 2 Unmarked Chargers a mix of the Taurus & Crown Vic as main patrol vehicles.. Tahoes, a couple Dodge Durangos, GMC Savannas' & Chevrolet Express for main patrol vehicles... RCMP have the Crown Vic, Taurus, Chargers, Tahoes, GMC Savanna's, Chevrolet Express Vans, Ford F-350's & 250's, Chevrolet Silverados, GMC Sierras & i'm sure a bunch more.. at least the O.P.P aren't all over the page with lighting equipment & stick with Federal Signal as their main lightbar.. I've never actually seen a new PPV Caprice, is it nice?

It doesn't squeal at all in park I threw it in neutral whilst driving and revved it up and it was quite loud, but it doesn't sound like a belt squeal I could be wrong though. As for the Convertor, if I want my car to see the road again when it's time for an inspection, I have to have one installed.

Oddly enough, I googled to see if I could see what the diagnosis of my problem is but google gives me 100 ideas of what it could be, it comes from the front end passenger side under the hood, its a slight squeeking sound when I accelerate, even just a little & its driving me nuts because I can't find the source of it, it doesn't do it while in park ONLY when I accelerate, I read somewhere that if the battery is going bad and the alternator charges the battery to much it can squeal like this, I haven't changed the battery since I got it & even rolling the windows up affects the voltage, any way I can check on this? I don't plan on taking it to a shop, I need a Catalytic Convertor & a new filler neck but those have problems of their own, any ideas? i'd like to just do the work on my own.
