Bring back the Crown Victoria!
What's funny about that statement is the civilian crown vics other than the LX & other Sedan CV's were not made public & were designed AS civilian CV's but weren't actually made available to the public, so they provided them with this massive 4.6L V8 engine that had more power & unique modifications, struts, sway bars, rear shocks, chipped motor then any ordinary civilian vehicle. I have one, it's 11 years old, but she hauls ass and keep up with the new model F-150, I have raced it a few times, the good thing about them is when you actually drive one it is in fact a boat, but it feels a lot smaller driving it then it actually is & I love the handling & the increased turning radius.

Bring back the Crown Victoria!
Check your tone with the wannabe crap get's really irritating since you would take a Charger I can call you a wannabe? same thing, since you have no idea some of the reason why people buy them.. I have an 03 CVPI, has it's issues but they are a great riding car & keep in mind the regular maintenance done on them while in service, sounds good, FYI lights are legal where I am & I have lights in mine Cop wannabe's have radio's scanners, spotlights, hells some don't even have lights, they have everything else though.

Bad Snow on east coast
I was in a roll over accident in Ontario a few years ago & when I was first starting out, indeed things happen, but I'm not a nervous driver by any means, I don't "think" I am a good driver, I know I am, & FYI your driving record does prove how you drive get's you employment & cheaper insurance, seeing as my record is clean, I don't really know what that "people like you" remark is all about, I don't think I'm the best at anything, but if I was at all a nervous driver I wouldn't be doing what I do, I'm going into snow storms to pull people like you out of ditches because you don't know enough to stay home, it's called driving the conditions my friend, learn how, or stay off the roads, plain and simple. EDIT: & FYI driving the posted speed limit is not illegal in a snow storm, if I can drive it, there should be no reason why I can't.

Freak Accident In Halifax
I was actually at the towing compound that got the call for this accident, I was there getting a car involved in a head on collision (driver was fine) & saw the van there it was tarped, but all the wind the passed few days didn't help, it was indeed pretty gruesome in that van, sad thing is, that van will be sent out to an auction once the investigation is complete I used to do security at the place the van is probably going.

Bad Snow on east coast
The other night it stormed windy as hell then it rained, then all the slush turned to ice yesterday & today, I winched 3 cars out of exits of parking lots yesterday on the same street in 20 minutes, my opinion, you can drive a 4WD or AWD vehicle but what's funny is, I see more of those vehicles in ditches rather then RWD or FWD vehicles, my CVPI is RWD (obviously) and it's doing fine (minus my girlfriend driving it into the back of my tow truck), I will always stick to this & I tell people all the time, that if you can't drive the conditions, call in sick & stay home where your better off, nervous drivers make it dangerous for everyone including emergency personnel that HAVE to be out on highways BECAUSE these people don't know any better, people going 20-30KM under the speed limit is also dangerous, I am a professional driver, I am not an arrogant person by any means, but I am VERY arrogant about my driving because I know I'm a good driver & my driving record proves that, I have no problem going 110KM/H in a 110KM/H zone in a snow storm whereas I see people going 50-60KM/H in a 110KM/H zone, I know what my tow truck is capable of doing same with my car & I know how to handle the power of both, luckily my wrecker has duallies with the boom on the back that even everything out.

Bring back the Crown Victoria!
HRP still has a lot of Crown Vics, some 2010's I believe but are slowly fading them out, I personally think it should be the departments choice on what they prefer, Officers like the CVPI because it's the ultimate work horse & will bounce back from almost anything & the Taurus Is AWD which is great for winter driving but really not much better on gas being AWD all the time. Dodge Charger has the option of the small V6 engine OR the big V8 HEMI, why not have all 3 on the market & let the departments decide what they want to use?

Bring back the Crown Victoria!
I think eventually over time the Ford Taurus may prove to handle like the CVPI after years of improvements on electrical/models default failures, they handle just as well jumping curbs, I personally like Dodge for it's power & it's quite an intimidating vehicle but the problem is?? COST the cost of repairs & constantly getting the shit beat out of them would make a PD's budget spiral out of control & eat it up, fast, which is why I think HRP & RCMP only have 2 or 3 unmarked 2012-2013 Chargers, unmarked, in the U.S a lot of police policies are very different in regards to police vehicles & how you operate one.

Bring back the Crown Victoria!
I beg to differ, with todays technology you can easily upgrade all the equipment to give it the boost it needs & sell it as is, stock, I was also speaking with an RCMP Officer while on scene of an accident the other day about his Taurus, he said it's nice, but it shifts like shit & they over heat way to easy, he said the only good thing about it is the AWD in the winter, he said if their was ever a pushbumper to push bumper challenge between a Crown Vic & a Taurus, the Crown Vic would DESTROY the Taurus, you can't beat the V8 muscle that even sounds amazing just revving it up.

Vertex Mapped
You sure like that Code 3 Defender! are you planning on doing any other vehicles besides this one with the vertex? also, they don't have coloured lenses, they are clear glass & can either flash red/blue in one or solid colours.

L.O.L heaven forbid he doesn't ever come back, he can leave, on the same plane as the Biebs  As for this ------> "If you love your country, your country should love you too; but how can you trust someone who doesn't trust you" that is very true my friend.

Your kidding right? the Government doesn't trust, they don't trust anyone, I went to the bank a few weeks ago to cash a cheque from Manitoba Public Insurance for $84.00 & I thought she was going to call the cops.. got the 20 questions.. manager got called, All because I live in Nova Scotia & got my license in Manitoba & they hadn't seen that kind of cheque before, like that's my problem & got told "That's not possible" oh yeah, they trust alright.. Our Government is just as paranoid as the United States Government & the RCMP is pretty much the Canadian version of the FBI, they know everything about us, the U.S is just on a constant power trip to "Protect The People".. I personally don't like the fact that they think it's okay to spy on us, gather our information & store it wherever & use our own actions against us, intentional or not, they don't care, it sucks but there really isn't anything that we can do about it.. Problem, both countries are in so much debt & they're still worried about what we're doing & buy this technology worth billions to spy on us & in reality, we're the ones paying for it.. I don't agree with the Harper Government & I think Stephen Harper is an asshole & should retire..

Freak Accident In Halifax
I agree with what DCNortie said, it was indeed carelessness on the truck drivers part & I hope he gets what he deserves, that stretch of road where that happened bends around very sharp coming off the Mackay Bridge and is very narrow, so I'm guessing the driver of the minivan didn't even see it coming as that van was coming onto the bridge, there were people at the gas bar I was at fuelling up talking about seeing it happen & apparently was very gruesome to watch, everything I'd say is pointing to the truck drivers carelessness & not making sure his load was secure.

Bad Snow on east coast
Come to Canada, December-January hits and all of Canada covered, so far there have been 3 fatalities (I think) due to unsafe driving in winter conditions in the Halifax/Dartmouth/Cole Harbour Area's Highway 103 outbound passed Tantallon was rated the most dangerous highway in Canada, peopll die on that stretch of highway every year.

Freak Accident In Halifax
I don't generally post this stuff, but I found this to be quite shocking, 5 or so days ago, sometime in the morning as I was starting my shift, a tractor trailer had it's trailer detach and slam into a mini van going the opposite way. killing the driver of the van , judging by the severe damage, I'd say instantly. I would definitely say this is a freak accident.. http://thechronicleherald.ca/metro/1185283-police-province-investigate-after-fatal-truck-van-collision-in-halifax
