It is, but when it is given to you, you didn't work for it, therefore a sense of arrogance or entitlement comes into play, it's the same thing with a car, if I had my car given to me would I be as attached to it as I am? no, because I didn't work for it, would I take as much care of my PS3 as I do if it was given to me? no, because I didn't pay for it, working for something as small as a PS3 is a big deal, because YOU worked for it & there is most certainly more appreciation for something you worked towards, believe me man, it goes along way & teaches your kids responsibility.

Modified yes, Whelen Liberty? No I was watching youtube video's a couple of weeks ago & there was a new lighting outfitter that was showing off a light bar very similar to this, if it was a Liberty it looks HEAVILY modified, the casing looks like liberty housing on it, but the modules say not a liberty. I think that's heavily modified Code 3 Defender. Just looking up the Sheriffs Office they do use mostly Code 3 Products.

That looks like a Tomar product, there is a guy that drives around in a pickup truck with that light bar, he def likes his lights, he also has one with FS Valor, def unusual for around here, Sound Off Signal is coming out with all sorts of new light bars, could be one of those, i'll look around. EDIT: It's not Sound Off either. It's not Tomar & it's not Federal Signal & not Whelen.

Thousands of applicants across Canada as the RCMP is our national police force, it is an extremely grueling & lengthy process but from what I've heard the RCMP is an organization to steer away from but tons of opportunities, wouldn't be me.

I didn't mean to insult you if I did, I made almost $30,000 last year, which is okay, considering the crap I put up with & the hours I work, things are also ALOT cheaper there, then here, which kind of evens out, cops here make $86,000/per year after 5 years of service as a Police Officer, whether it be Regional Police or RCMP, they pay cops extremely well here, here it's the law to move over for emergency vehicles as well, but people don't, so they are getting a lot more strict with those laws now because people just don't give a shit until it's them. true story, myself seeing this everyday as a Tow Truck Driver, to be honest, people are just plain dumb, last year I was hooking up to a broken down van & some guy in a supped up mustang thought it would be funny to walk on the accelerator and do a 180 around us, almost shit my drawers & him & his girlfriend laughing about it.

Yeah, I realized that all the lights were a bit much after I got them installed, I don't regret it, but there are a lot of frickin lights, my buddy looked at me and said "Yeah, your sadly lacking lights in the front end"

I think I'm going to get the TIR3's moved to the grill, so many people pacing me on my way home after picking it up, no one would pass me & the people that tried slowed right down right beside me.

@ The_Admiral- They have their own power supply right on the cord for the LED, that goes to the battery, unlike a strobe where it has a separate $100.00 power supply. @sergiyj- It's illegal here to put a license plate cover on. @0taku- Indeed I do. @XBR410- Thanks, I'm getting Wig Wags installed on Friday then I'm done with lights lol @Officer Hawkins- I could put red/blue in legally but that's a little too far.

They aren't wired into anything on my car except the switch box & battery and the wiring isn't a mess, it has it's own power supply right on the cord itself, it took him 20 hours to wire everything, I wanted the strobes out, but it would have been more expensive to get them taken out, so I figured I'd just leave them in. EDIT: He installed a hidden kill switch for me cause I've been having problems with mechanics playing with them in the shop's.

My buddy did, he's an Emergency Vehicle Technician, he placed the LED's behind the strobe tubes in the marker lights.

Nope, that's my personal car, the lights serve no purpose.

Brinks drivers or Armoured Car drivers in general don't make that much, which is sad really, some that I know of hold 2 jobs to make ends meet ( no offence to the MoneyMan). People really are that ignorant, and pretty dumb nowadays but that may be an understatement, there has been at least 1 pedestrian/vehicle collision at least once a day for the last 6 months here in Halifax , people driving 135-140 in a 110KM/HR speed zone, going around school buses with the lights flashing, don't move over for emergency personnel etc, seems that drivers are severely uneducated with the rules of the road, I was loading a car on the side of the road today and people would not slow down or move over, whizzing inches from my ass.
